The 2008 edition of Felabration held between 14 and 18 October 2008. At least 40 international and 50 Nigerian artistes performed at the week-long event which had as its slogan “Baba 70 at 70.” The 2008 edition of Felabration was unique because it marked what would have been the 70th birthday of the late Afro-beat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

abami eda lives on…..
This Seun O guy is talented. He captured the essence of the event really well. Fela lives on. They should include a HIV awareness message in most of these Fela’s events though. Its a great opportunity to spread awareness and hopefully reduce the HIV rates amongst African youth
thumbs up
Looks like it was a good event and well-attended too. Femi looks SO much like his father in that picture. As they say, Fela lives on! Music never dies and his legacy will never die.
