Its going to take America a long time to get back up. The next biggest and thriving economy is China, followed by India and then it will be Africa's turn.

Either way i know masses of my fellow west africans (ghana, nigeria etc) relocating home and doing very well (ofcourse you do ya research and homework well in advance and if nothing else get save and get your self a car, the number one necessity).

I have always wanted to go to the Africab Business forum in Harvard and i always miss it, this time i will make a note and try and attend the impending Feb 2009 event.

Everyone who have been tell me how informative and useful it is. I am making my FINAL relocation in April 2009 and need all the advise i can get.

Thanks for the article - very useful.

It’s really good to know that a lot is being done to place Nigeria and indeed Africa back on top, where we belong. It all started with us (education, medicine, arts etc) and we’re def taking centre stage once again. I’ve just concluded my studies and I’m soooo looking forward to going back home!! Some people don’t ever want to go back and, somehow, I don’t blame them. Over here, all we hear and see about Nigeria and Africa is negative stuff (internet fraud, genocide, political unrest). But if we all make up our minds to put our voices, skills/talents together, I know we can do it!! I believe that the number of people with good intentions for the greater good are more than the selfish, self serving ones in our midst. China, not too long ago, locked up, blocked everyone out and worked on developing their economy and today, they’re a world super power!! The map of Africa takes the shape of a gun and Nigeria is at the trigger. We determine quite a number of things within the continent and, therefore, most of the change has to start with us. Nigeria/Africa: YES WE CAN!! (and indeed, WE MUST, for the sake of our children and generations yet unborn)
