firstly, it is good everything is in the open only then do you really have a shot at healing your marriage and each other. Secondly, it is vital that you be patient and kind and lose your anger towards your wife. Be angry at the deception you gave yourself over, and learn and practice what real love is. any grieving or loss over your gf has to do with you being physically atrracted to her, this my friend was not a realtionship about love but one of lust. love does no harm and you have done much”) I f you dont know Jesus i would run to him because its only through him that you will learn what real love is and be able to give that to your wife, he layed down his life for us so we could be in relationship with him, thats love when God dies so we can live, and its that kind of love that is meant to be expressed in marriage, marriage is Gods idea and only He can keep yours together be blessed and dont lose hope!!

My H did this. All I can say is do not make a miserable sad situation worse by keeping anything from your wife. You ripped her to shreds and you owe her the absolute truth about everything. Too darn bad if talking about it makes YOU feel terrible. It is not anything compared to how terrible your wife feels.

Please do not do this to your wife. Do not push her too far because I am here to tell you that once you cross that line it is impossible to fix it. Everyone has their limits. Do not test your wife’s limitations on this!! Tell her you will do whatever she needs to help her to feel better and know that you love her and then DO IT. Whatever it is.

Open your sorry mouth and tell her anything and everything she wants to know. Give her time to deal with it all and accept all of her anger and don’t blame her for what you did in any way because it was not her fault. You have to be responsible for your own stupid choices. You had better learn to accept “iciness” and lots of it for a long time if you want to stay with her because you have torn her apart and it will take many years of healing – if she can heal at all. Lucky for you she is not a hot head like I am or you would be thankful for just iciness and not things flying through the air in the house.

I never did heal completely. My marriage is a shambles now. I hurt over it and think about it still every day and it has been YEARS. I truly loved my husband once and now all I feel is hurt. I can hardly sleep with him anymore. We don’t talk about it now but it looms between us like an elephant in the room. This will never go away.

honestly, i must say that Ian was evil but what matters most is that he was wise enough not to go off with kate, men cheat everyday, everytime and anytime, the only thing we can do as women is to keep praying for them that they will be wise enough to know the extent of the damage they cause as at the time the affair is going on, nobody wants a cheating husband or partner but from his mail, he seems to have realised his mistakes and has asked for forgiveness, his wife should take him back and truth is, he may never be able to make up for the hurt and damaged he caused, only the grace of God can heal the marriage, and if it eventually does not mend, then they have no other alternative than to go their separate way and move on with their lives, sadly, a short period of pleasure could cause a lifetime of regret and pain, but i pray Stephanie reconciles with him….i really do hope and i am seriously praying for their marriage!

You may be getting angry and all dat, but u should pocket ur anger because u are the one that cheated on her. so U want a fresh start? tell her every damn thing she wants to know about Kate, and yes, tell her why u found Kate attractive, that’ll give her closure on that matter. Then comes the hard task of getting back her trust, U have to convince her u were foolish and SHOW her u are sorry. She is a woman scorned, I can only imagine what she’s feeling, besides being a total failure. So my dear, U guys know how to sweet talk women, so u have to woo her all over again and make her remember why she fell in lov ewith you in the first place. And pls, pls, pls, look the other way when u feel tempted to destroy the lives of pple dat care about you.

Frankly, i don’t feel an atom of sorry for u whatsoever! U were not only unfaithful, but cruel! How could u have went over to kate’s house with the hope of moving in with her and starting a relationship w/her after stephanie found out?! How could u?! And on top of that u’re admitting that u felt devastated that kate is out of ur life?…dude, r we seriously supposed to believe that u r sincere??…I honestly think u r scurrying bak to steph bcos…KATE DUMPED UR SORRY BEHIND! Yes! I said it..u r sitting there talkn about kate doesnt wanna be with u cos she dont wanna be a step-mom yet and u believe that crap?! Ofcourse she doesnt want ur baggages…and guess what, she was smart enoff to get out of the messy situation b4 she too got “poto-poto” (I hope u’re nigerian) on her trifling self 2!(who wants a beetle when they can settle with a jaguar for life?). Your best bet now is to pray like there’s no tomorrow for God to give Stephanie’s heart and mind…..(and ur trifling self) a divine visitation…..If not, u r doomed (Sorry!)…bcos even if ur wife takes u bak, the trust u broke will forever cause problems for u all. U may stay together, but that “silent iciness” will still linger, and she will become suspicious over everything u do, and u my friend will remain miserable! Most importantly, u killed a part of her that can never be resurrected again except by a divine touch…bitter dose of reality huh??
Sorry, but God is ur only hope (U should’ve made him the king of ur life to begin with, then u’d probably not find urself in such mess).
