@ Anon,
I pray the below helps your stupidity.is it by force to leave comment?
Metaphor (from the Greek language: Meaning "transfer") is language that directly compares seemingly unrelated subjects. It is a figure of speech that compares two or more things without using the words "like" or "as." More generally, a metaphor describes a first subject as being or equal to a second object in some way. This device is known for usage in literature, especially in poetry, where with few words, emotions and associations from one context are associated with objects and entities in a different context. A simpler definition is the comparison of two unrelated things without using the words "like" or "as". For example, my love is a red rose.

I am mesmerised......your style of writing is captivating.........is there any particular reason you left out 9ice? as a yoruba girl...oops lady, 9ice's style is particularly unique, the art of blending yoruba lyrics in an appealing way to all audiences is particularly commendable.

By the way Noble, you are invited to a steaming plate of akpu, ofe onugbu, assorted meat and a chilled drink of your choice.....however, you don't need to move in :-)

Eldee by far is the BEST in the bunch...dude is lyrically sick!!! Been a fan of his for a hot minute now, and i have to say dude is killin' it! And his new album the "Evolution" is on fire, there is just something about the way dude delivers his lyrics that sets him apart from those other cats....perhaps its maturity?? But he is way smoother than the rest..... and he is able to capture different age groups...take for instance my Pops who is well in his 60s, boy! does he love Eldee's music...lollllllllllllll. And he's also got the the sickest video out there, 'Bosi gban gba'...that joint is too mad..okay, i need to quit before y'all think Eldee paid me for this shameless plug...lolllllllllllll

D'banj is great, he blew me away with his first album, his single "Tongolo" was a masterpiece, his beats and voice reminded me of the late Fela Kuti. "Why me" was also cool, however i have to admit i was less than impressed with his last album. i only liked about two tracks on the CD, Kiwon, and Igwe....didn't care too much for ogbono feli feli...."ish" sounded like noise to me, no diss, i'm just saying he could have done better, especially since that was the first single off the album.

Naeto C?? hmmmmm, the jury is still out on him, sometimes i'm feeling his work (Kini big deal , hot video by the way!)and sometimes his shit sounds like garbage! i.e "You know my P", that shit is whack as hell , sounded like some nursery rhyme shit! Don't get it twisted, I ain't trying to diss him or anything like that, i think he's a bit talented....but dammit! i'm calling a spade a freaking SPADE! it wasn't his best.... I look forward to seeing more his work in the future though.....looks like he's got some potential.

Ikechukwu??? I'm still trying to understand why he even made the list.....his shit is whack and he trys too hard.....just 'cuz he nabbed an award doesn't make his shit any less "whack', Awards don't mean jack, its mainstream and very much not reflective of what the streets are saying...aren't we talking about "MTV awards" here?? the same mofos that gave Eminem best rap video back in 02 or was '03....negro puhleaaseeee,

But anywhos, great write-up Noble! big ups to Banky W...dude is blowing up big time ain't he?

Chanting MI MI MI!!!! The guys is tooo baad!! and he is from my AREA!!! ..LOL
No for real the guys is just of the chain!!! his lyrcis and delivery are clear and soo on point!
His attempt at a roots reggae song . Chant Down Babylon is sooooo of the chain!
No for real it is great what these guys have come back to Nigeria to achieve i love all of the above artists.

I always explain to people that the above mentioned artist have really changed the Nigerian Music Industry witht heir very fresh clean and very very international approach to Hip Hop!

Some may say it does not sound very African.. It's a lie ooooh! it does oh! after all we are the Mtv Generation and being Nigerian we have our Nigerian influence through our parents and just being and living ( or visiting Naija) and of course the western influence and this just transends to the music they make.. it's 2009 Baby!!

As for me i love the music... so clear so so!! words can NOT express how i feel when i hear the tunes.

All my Jamican/ Black British friends love D'banj and 2 Face Idibia and i have given them all albums .. so they can go and spread the message. and they have no probs in understanding them and the lyrics..lol infact a lot of them know Dbanj..lol thats another story!....lol

Yea Noble love the write up it makes me proud as a Nigerian soo proud!
