“Simply Understated”: MOMO at ARISE

While many expected the African fashion collective to showcase more couture looks, the designers strategically focused on ready to wear appealing to both editors and buyers. MOMO‘s collection could easily go from the runways to your closet. The Mosaic of Africa collection combined classic glamor with a cultural twist. Old world African influences were merged with new technology in the form of dynamic pixelated patterns. The look was classic, simple and understated with a strong  focus on the uniformity and cut of the designs.

i think “understated” is putting it very lightly. her collection was incredibly dull. makes me kinda sad ’cause Momo is usually off the chain.

i dont like, she did a better job at the Thisday fashion events. i am disappointed. no african fabric, no vibrancy, no colour, lost her appeal…oh well

*yawn* very dull…looks like she made the whole collection in 1 week and all with the same template. The 1st dress is the best in my opinion.
