What a difference a stylist makes, and a change of location!

Some people take critique very personally while others use it to their advantage. By taking up the hems and adding “au courant” liquid latex, this collection has gone from saleable but a bit old-ladyish to young and hip without losing any of its commercial appeal.

People found the colours drab, but they forget that she is selling autumn/winter for the western market. Im not surprised by the link to Armani because that was the vibe I got the first time I saw the clothes and while I’ve never been a fan of his particular brand of subdued sartorialism, I now it sells like hotcakes.

Restyling her pieces made her vision clearer and showed that she intends to make a real go of things internationally rather than use foreign shows to pander to her audience at home.

Im excited to see where the future takes her and wish her the very best of luck!
