No! No! This isn’t Neo-Soul. Has a more R&B sounding thing to it. Neo soul is Erykah Badu or Jill Scott (sometimes)… this is boring. The lyrics are dumb and the video is sucky. She should stick to acting… she’s “okay” at that.
Ok I just googled the director. The video was shot in Los Angeles over a year ago…so its a bit old. I guess things have moved on since then and they probably just wanted to release it anyway. But still that’s no excuse.

We converted the Aqua Lounge in Beverly Hills into our talk show/performance sets. All the sets were uniquely designed using aquatic marine elements, to draw parallels to Dakore’s culture.”
