Encomium Magazine recently held their annual ‘White Gig‘ at the Oriental Hotel in Lekki – Lagos. The White Gig has become a much-loved annual event on the social calendar of Nigerian actresses, musicians and fans of Encomium Magazine. In my opinion, Omowunmi is the best dressed followed by Genevieve. I am not loving what Stephanie wore. I love funke but she needs a stylist badly.

genny looks very good, hot, simple and sweet. i”ll give her an A1, omawunmi loks great also. i”ll give her a B+. i dont really like stephanies outfit but its her taste ok. but i love her necklace its damn beautiful, so i”ll give her a C. overall, genny is the best dressed person here as usual.
Ok. Zizi Cardow’s shoes are not doing it for me. Seriously, same as Funke Akindele’s shoes. Even Ego’s footwear, not doing it for me either. Why did Genevieve decide to spoil her haute couture look – I’m talking about the Made magazine recent event outfit. She looked very good with her ensemble and footwear. And now at the Encomium gig she looks like the same boring Genevieve outfits. Please don’t get me wrong, i love me Genevieve. She is a great actress, no doubt. And her trousers are not so much of her best fashion outfit ’cause she has shorter legs. She could try palazzo pants, you know, something that will take the focus off the skinny pants thing. Stephanie Okereke looks good. Muma Gee, thank God for the less make-up. They all look good though.
It’s just that there are always improvements to be made – sometimes
1. Omowumni is hands down the best dressed of the lot listed here, seconded by Ego Ogbaro, followed by Funke Akindele even though the whole mini belted style is getting tired and Nikky Laoye.
2. Stephanie should have picked one or the other, i.e. do big earrings OR do big necklace BUT not the two. It was way too much and overpowering for her skinny, lanky frame. All in all, she was little too casual, it’s still a party a shop rite run.
3. Genevieve gave an above scale casual chic approach but points are taken off for whatever that black creepy thing was that was hanging from beneath her hair and down her shoulder like an animal’s tail. WTH was that?
4. Muma Gee – No! WHITE Satin…hell, satin period and a pear shaped woman do not work together in harmony.
5. Segun Arinze – a chocolate man in white is always a sight to die for BUT the pants are a wee bit tight.
6. Mr. Kool – not cool at all. Braids on dudes is a style that is worn out and only suited to teenagers not a full grown man of a certain age, the top is gown i.e. too long.
6. Why must Zizi Cardow’s clothes always have a train? It’s always short in front with a train in the back, why? I guess it must be her signature style and if that is the case, it’s very limiting.
Yes o Bella methinks u’re slacking o. Was expecting more pics! Omowumni was def the best dressed of d lot and are those bra straps I spy on Stephanie? So not cool, girlfriend should have done the strapless/convertible bra. Also gotta give props to Nikky she looks good too.
Gennys attire is only ok but she could have done it better,and what the hell have those shoes forgotten there,i wonder,the trouser 2 casual,
Steph s accessoirs a bit 2 much,either 1 or 2 sha but the 2 together hell no plus the top is 2 chicky micky 4 that occasion,omawumi rocks ,she looks pretty jo
I think Stef looks great! She wanted to look casual and she nailed it! I would definitely wear what she has on if I’m going for the casual, sort of laid back look. I gotta admit, the earrings were kinda overpowering, but she makes up for it in her confident appearance, nice hair-do, fit body and with her oh-so-gorgeous face. I definitely approve.

Genny is simply adorable. I like her easy going look. Seen that tassle neck peice somewhere before…can’t remember. Would have prefered a gold sandal, but love the mint green purse. Not fussy as usual.
Funke looks pretty but a more mature dress would have gone better with a fairly matured face. And the shoes where a wrong choice as well.
My look is Omowunmi’s. She nailed it! Beautiful. Ah Segun the pant is a no no. Genny looks ok in this one but ofcourse we all know she can look hot and haute when she really wants to. I love her styles. Steph loose the necklace. It’s too much. Others eeehhh…….
