When Stars Align, 2 Become 1: Aishetu Fatima Kolo & Ngozi Dozie Wed

Sometimes it seems as though the stars align when a couple gets married. Aishetu Fatima Kolo and Ngozi Dozie appear to have towed very similar lifepaths and now they have come together and tied the knot as one. The bride is a graduate of Cornell University and worked as a financial analyst for several years. The groom is a graduate of Oxford University and Imperial College – he also worked as a financial analyst for several years. It doesn’t end there – she graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School while he graduated with an MBA from rival Wharton.
All this led to their meeting, courtship and now marriage. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful – the day began at the Church of Assumption in Lagos where the blessing of the marriage took place. Surrounded by family and friends from all over the world, Aishetu and Ngozi pledged their vows. The bride was reminiscent of a princess in a strapless crystal embellished full-skirted wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and a long train. The groom was handsome in his grey suit with a green silk tie and pocket square. The wedding party then proceeded to the reception venue which was decorated with lights, swathes and flowers in the wedding theme colours of green and peach. Then the couple they danced, celebrated, toasted to a happy and fulfilling marriage with all their wellwishers. BN wishes the couple a happy and blessed marriage.

Omg! The smarts! All the best sha…
me too. The bride is my niece. Yeeee!
Is she Hausa?
My aunt will love this couple right here, just based on their academic achievements. I was talking to her that I will not want to marry someone just based on their academic achievement, but of course has a job. I’m not saying this couple are doing it, but if it happens it’s all good. But she wants me to deliberately marry a doctor, since I’m going to be a pharmacist, so she can boast about it, can you believe my niece is a pharmacist, and she’s married to a doctor from Harvard(nigerian accent). But who cares, Nigerians are so caught up in things like that, it has its good and bad.
Then she now specify it that, a doctor from harvard or a prestiguous university. Are you kidding me? but i still love her tho.
‘Lucky’ you. My friend’s mum insists she marries an academic achiever who is yoruba and a strong muslim. She alway jokes that she’s glad her genotype is AA,if not, she knows Alhaja (her mum) would have requested a “yoruba, muslim, AA genotyped, academic achiever” LOL
who knows where this reception was at?
Congrats! This bride na slim fit. Very pretty. Ok ok, the groom’s not bad either. If I was at that wedding I go carry that cake run Lol! It looks delicious! Very nice wedding.
Best wishes to the newly weds. The pictures look great that it made me feel I am part of it. There’s nothing really more happier than a girl getting married.
