Just this week I was saying to some Naija folks I was talking to in atlanta that I was so tired of hearing Nigerians in Nigeria praying for solutions and not being proactive (a general statement I know but i was just venting cuz we know as Nigerians how passionate we can get about our issues ). I am so proud of what you all are doing with the Lightup Nigeria project and would like to be involved in any way I can. Thanks!!!!!! On my Facebook page…my independance day wishes were “May we have light”… thanks for answering our prayers…because dis light oh we must have!!!!!!!

Like helpless kids, we are constantly waiting for the government to come and rescue us like we expect our parents to do at times of trouble. When we learn to cut the umbilical cord and step out of this mentality, then we have the chance of moving forward TOGETHER. Its embarrassing enough with what happened with Obama.

Great idea…without steady power Nigeria will function well….One question is ..what strategy are we going to use to let the polictician acknowledge that steady power suply is our right as Nigerians…Just saying it won’t be enough..Let’s put thoughts together my People ……Remember that one day oil revenue in Nigeria is enough to light up Nigeria. Let us stand up and say “NO” to Nigeria corrupt Governmnent…..

lovely idea! im tired of the constant embarrassment that comes with being Nigerian..its high time we all came together esp we the youth and did something positive as against sitting down n complaining from our comfort zones
