    • Bobby Taylor September 3, 2009 at 4:14 AM

I am actually very impressed and think this is one of Sasha’s best tracks.

I love the street/hood theme of the video

I enjoyed the cross-culture theme as well.

      Excellent!

    • Cool video September 3, 2009 at 5:02 AM

They go to south africa cause they’ve been brainwashed with the idea that Non Nigerian things are better. They will never pay Nigerian directors real money but will rather pay a non Nigerian 10X the amount. WE all have that mentality from the way we dress, to the way we try to talk. We need to embrace and support our people in order to move forward, we Nigerians should take lessons from Latinos, Asians, and Indians. They are succesful because they support each other. With all that being said, it was a great video.

Good video, however i dnt understand Sasha’s continuous patronization of South Africa as a video location….Am sure Dj Tee or Peters can do a better job

I’m feeling this song. It’s tight and I’m not a sasha fan normally. Tight, tight, tight! And Dama’s just off the hizzy!

    • cutieprettynasty September 3, 2009 at 2:23 PM

    • ladi September 3, 2009 at 2:48 PM

I agree with you but Dama Do Bling is from Southern Africa so the location actually makes sense this time.

    • Toluwa September 3, 2009 at 5:11 PM

saw d video yesterday, dama brought some rhythm into it, seemed like she owned d song, just like tictac brought rhythm into tony tetuila’s fefe nefe wit his voice.he totally owned dat track.

    • luvlife September 4, 2009 at 12:50 AM

i beg to differ…the way you comment has nothing to do with one’s personality, as long as it is constructive and does not diminish or belittle anyone.

    • FirstIWantToDanceWithYouPere September 4, 2009 at 3:16 AM

ITK are you for rea?l…this is the comment i made concerning the video “Ok…let me comment on d video…I love my girl Yetunde Alabi anytime…but me not feeling this song at all…doesnt have a nice beat…the video is just like a regular South African Kwaito video!!JUST MY OPINION” and you think i was hating?…..must i like it?na by force…see me see local trouble…As u said i am entitled to my opinion….so pls carry go and find something else to do with your life

    • ladi September 4, 2009 at 3:49 AM

She’s the mainest chic down South. She was nominated for MTV Africa awards last year. Love!!!

    • PEPPERSWEETMYTOTO September 4, 2009 at 5:16 AM

      Wow–
Never heard of her,she is sooooooo good. She truely owned this one…been googling her but everything seems to be in portuguese–

I have never been a fan of sasha as i feel she falls flat within her rap/songs most times–like she fizzles out somewhere…BUT this is the ONLY thing of hers i can stand..as DAMA maintains the heat all through and carries Sasha along brilliantly.

      **off to stalk dama online**

    • Nice Anon September 4, 2009 at 5:36 AM

She looks good.. sasha i mean

    • KayBayBay September 4, 2009 at 4:11 PM

Question…is Sasha from the BK (Brooklyn) or is she just putting on that accent?…..Ive always wondered..it sounds like highly master phonetics to me but i just wanted a second opinion…oh yeah song is alright still.

    • me September 4, 2009 at 5:10 PM

I saw this video first on MTN and I wan’t really impressed. Then I heard it on the radio and I must confess, the Dama Do Blingchic was fantastic! May be it was the foreign language thing… Sahsa i’m not so sure about. I seemed like it was Dama Do Bling’s track

    • 234 speaks September 4, 2009 at 6:43 PM

No darl, Dama is NOT from South Africa.

    • Nneka September 4, 2009 at 6:59 PM

Brooklyn ko….Idi-Araba ni. Abeg don’t crack me up my sister. The girl na omo Eko Akete…..lagos girl. She went to college at Unilag.

    • Ade baby September 4, 2009 at 8:12 PM

Sasha is actually from Ibadan. She went to International school Ibadan (ISI), and I believe lived in the Old Bodija area of Ibadan before heading to Unilag.

    • Stella September 4, 2009 at 9:32 PM

      Dama is from Mozambique :-)

    • mee September 4, 2009 at 10:52 PM

    • Obi-talker September 5, 2009 at 1:36 AM

sometimes thats why i dont bother reading the comments b4 i watch the video. wat y’ll talking about. sasha was really good in this track and the bling girl was hot too. the only reason u guyz think she’s better than sasha is because she was rapping in another language, which y’all don understand but your tripping for. The video…loving the hood scenes. infact 9ja videos are great when its anything thats not a club setting. artism (if there’s a words like that) comes out. this an award worthy video and I hope it makes it. Big ups to sasha you make me proud that i went to unilag too.

    • FirstIWantToDanceWithYouPere September 5, 2009 at 2:03 AM

      ………………………

    • luvlife September 5, 2009 at 5:52 AM

      Award worthy ke?

    • KayBayBay September 5, 2009 at 10:13 AM

Seen….well when she raps she sounds like se has a brooklyn accent to me….hence the reason why i asked. x x

    • KayBayBay September 5, 2009 at 10:18 AM

Wtf….are you serious, i wasnt talking about when she was rapping in portuguese….i’m obviously talking about when she raps in english!!…common sense would of told you that…coooome on buddy!..lol..kmt about southern drawl get the fudge out of here..xx

    • THE AMAKA September 5, 2009 at 6:43 PM

i like the video and the song is alright but please Dama fix your weave, hot mess, especially the color.
but i guess overall it was pretty good. but i still dont see the sasha hype. :|

    • Nneka September 5, 2009 at 7:01 PM

Her parents ni e, she na Lagos girl. I actually meant as per being raised or based there. Ibadan, ISI, Unilag, Ado-Ekiti….all that one na real history 101. Chei. We didn’t even let the chic enjoy this newly found Brooklyn affiliation for a sec. At the end of the day we are all Lagos emigrants jere. This track is HOT btw! Go Sasha!

    • Cici September 5, 2009 at 11:52 PM

Sasha is very talented. She’s very good at what she does. I don’t even listen to rap like that, but i remember the first time i heard her, i wanted to hear more. I like her swagga, and how she puts yoruba words in her rap, she owns it. Go girl!!!

    • Ladi September 6, 2009 at 1:04 AM

na wa oh! Nothing is ever right.

    • toomuchmoney September 6, 2009 at 8:00 AM

      EXCUSE YOU???
Some of us “hear” rap in various other languages–which we STILL don’t understand BUT think is CRAP.
THIS Dama here could be rapping in GIBBERISH for all some of us care–POINT IS SHE SET THIS ONE ON FIRE SIMPLE!
Her flow is smooth, yet punches the correct spots.
Even if they BOTH rapped in ENGLISH something tells me sasha would still have been relegated to this damas behind on THIS track, thats all.
IT happens atimes when the guest rapper/singer or whatever on a track takes the shine away from the main attraction.
It doesn’t make sasha any less of a rapper.

    • toomuchmoney September 6, 2009 at 8:07 AM

IF you possessed this “COMMON SENSE ” you so make noise about, you would have known that me responding to your “question” was obviously poking fun AT YOU.
Someone born and raised in Ibadan who never left the shores of the country till she became a star–now automatically to you sounds like she from Brooklyn.
      People just play too much.

And i ain’t your buddy “sweety”
      Get that straight.

    • toomuchmoney September 6, 2009 at 8:12 AM

WORD….it’s sickening the way we Nigerians behave–always thinking any and everything foreign is better.
From clothes to accent to this to that.
Forever elevating foreigner and we wonder why we never grow as a people and why badbelle is engrained in our DNA.
      SHIOOOOO.

We need to do better as a people.

    • THE AMAKA September 6, 2009 at 5:39 PM

just because i dont like her weave? its not like i was commenting “wrong” on the music.
okay to make it perfect, “Dama’s weave is cute.”

    • Oron girl September 6, 2009 at 8:28 PM

Nice work…I like the Mozambique combination! Sasha’s hair is lovely too!

    • Obi-talker September 7, 2009 at 2:51 AM

shey you know like play like play, you havent said anything. except fight with everyone on this page!…by the way you can excuse yoursef!!!

    • KayBayBay September 7, 2009 at 2:41 PM

You are such a lame ass its quite funny…. and you are sooo BOTHERD, chill yourself out man jeez. Believe it or not but my question was actually geniune but you had to be such an asswipe about it. Captain-save-a-Sasha Calm your self down…”baby cakes” kmt.

    • jbaby September 11, 2009 at 3:07 PM

im a fan of sasha but dama do bling, babe is really on fire. i know the whole foreign language thing adds to it but i watched some of her songs on youtube and even though i dont understand wat she’s saying i was lovin them. if sasha sang this song on her own it will be hot but dama do bling definately made it hotter.

in btw great video even though it is in some ghetto in SA.
