On the verge of stardom, Waje releases ‘Kolo’

You might not know the name but you have definitely heard the voice – Waje was the female vocalist featured on P-Square’s megahit ‘Do Me’ – now she is ready and poised to seize the limelight on her own terms. Waje participated in Zain/MTV Africa’s Advance Warning competition last year. She fought off tough competition to land in the Top 3. Not an easy feat considering that the competition featured a plethora of talented stars including MI, Nikki Laoye and eventual winner – Durella.
Waje has just released a new single entitled ‘Kolo‘. This track is not your run-of-the-mill Nigerian song. It blends euro-synth influences with that distinctive Naija flavour. Very hot!
