From This Moment..: Shola Adewunmi & Tayo Laditi Wed

They say love can be found in the most unusual places…
You might not expect it and then cupid’s arrow strikes!
Shola Adewunmi and Tayo Laditi met about 3 years ago when they went to do some shopping at Park ‘n’ Shop in Lagos, Nigeria. Tayo spotted Shola, they got talking, exchanged numbers and so their love story began…
3 years later, Tayo proposed at the site of their first meeting and on the 24th of August 2009, the couple solemnized their union at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish. It was an emotional and uplifting ceremony as Shola and Tayo pledged their vows.
Shola was princess-like in her intricately embellished wedding gown while Tayo bucked convention by wearing a Sherwani. The groomsmen were also dressed in the Indian attire while the bridesmaids looked striking in red asymmetrical fishtail dresses by Nigerian designer Valerie Davids.
The couple and wedding party then transitioned to the reception where the gold and red theme helped create a festive atmosphere as they enjoyed their special day.
Beautiful day for a special couple! Wishing them a blessed, fruitful and love-filled marriage!

AWESOME. The Sherwani really looks great on the men. They’re all tall which really helps when pulling off this suit. The bride and the bridesmaids all look wonderful. Beautiful wedding pics.
