“Colo-mentality” makes me laugh. History, they say, is written by the victors. How does one explain movies made in the 60s, 70s and even 80s where an aboriginal or African tribe is seen “roasting” a white man/woman? If such movies were produced (financed) and directed by, say, non-white people, perhaps there would have featured a white man roasting an aborigine or African. Hmmm … maybe I am displaying my lack of knowledge of history. Please dont take me seriously, I am just being comical with my thoughts.

Once, again out of lack of knowledge, we are showing that we are still colonized. A successful self made indigenous industry, kissing up to oyinbo man. Please remember that the fans (common man) are watching and at the end of the day the industry will be taken away from you, if u allow Hollywood. They will rewrite the industry and promote only stereotypical images and limit the creativity of our artists. If they make in road into the market, they will shut the door in your faced once they get the control that they want. Also, understand that over exposure will destroy your blssoming careers. You do not need validation from Western Film Making institutions. Your return on investment is far greater than theirs, when u compare the your revenues with your budget, just do the math. The Hollywood industry is in debt and are just putting up a front. A word is enough for the wise “All that gliters is not gold’. Don’t sell your soul to the Devil, as he has nothing to offer.Pick only from them those things that benefit you, such as their technology,directing techniques,marketing prowess,editing tecniques, animation,e.t.c, but don’t sell us out and don’t sell you soul,please we beg of u.
