Have you read the THE ABYSSINIAN BOY? I have and in as much as it was by a young guy, it was badly written with numerous gramatical errors and general bad editing of the story’s flow. Who else has actually read it? Interesting to know your thoughts

Thanks for your comment Anon on the book ‘The Abyssinian boy’ I said thanks because you are highly entitled to that. I do not know who you are or your achievements else I would have asked what you have achieved during your teens. We all know how Nigerian teenagers have all embraced social vices like 419, cyber crime, prostitution, pick pockets and others but here is a child who nurtured the art of writing at a very young age and came out with a novel at the age of 21. I do not claim he is perfect but people like him needs to be encouraged and for other youths to follow suit. One of the problems with Nigeria is that we want already made things, we want foreigners to do everything for us, we can’t grow home talents and that is why talents die prematurely in Nigeria. The future awards is not for established people, it is for young talents of the future that needs to be promoted. So let’s all vote Onyeka Nwelue as the creative artiste of the year and Ayo Arigbagbu as the business owner of the year.

now that others have mentioned it and the chances of bella and/or her team noticing might increase, i must add that bella naija can be painfully slow sometimes. please, please, PLEASE improve upon it and your site could be that much closer to perfection.
also, i think it’d be a good idea for you to create a poll or open thread where your readers can give you feedback as far as ways you can improve, what you can include, etc.

i think people should find out about things before they talk. where you there when these people were born? the age limit is 31 and omoni oboli is not over 31. the future awards is very credible incase you dont know and they verify stuff. I know when she first came into nollywood as a teenager in 96. if you do the maths, u’ll see she is under 31. So she got married early and had her kids early. does that make her over 30. my friend got married at 20 immediately after school and started having kids, if you see her, you wont even know she has kids so let her be. She started life early and the sky is her starting place. bringing down one’s age is so pld school. If you meet her, u’ll know she’s not the kind of person that will bring down her age for any reason. Ride on girl, i am solidly behind you. Nse is not on the list because she is older.

ovbiebo richardson is definately the best shot for the creative artist category. An outstanding, creative and endowed artist who has a unique way of expressing ideas and concepts in what is known as art. i believe and am sure he is worth giving the vote.
