In 2009, She won the MOBO award for Best African Act.
In the words of influential music magazine, Rolling Stone, “Nneka is…pure hotness”
She was named as one of the Top 10 artists to watch in 2010 by SPIN Magazine.
Her new single “The Uncomfortable Truth” was picked as the iTunes Single of the week for 1/26 – 2/1.
And now she is appearing on the David Letterman Show tonight as the musical guest!
What more can we say, Nneka is quite simply on fire!
There are so many striking things about Nneka, however, we are most enamored with her talent and the strong sense of social consciousness conveyed in her music. She is truly a worthy musical ambassador for Nigeria and Africa.

Gospel means good news and does not imply explicit repetitions of Jesus or God on every line of a music track. For those that have followed Nneka over the year would have observed her deep spirituality and Christianity and understanding that God is first
God talking thru her????whats that about? i dnt like when people try to sound spiritual just for appeal…your either gospel or your not!!!leave God out of it…
Nneka is great – my vision of what a true Nigerian is (and should be)- proud and diverse and filled with quality. A true musician. 5 stars!
I LOVE NNEKA! I was lucky enough to see her in London in October. I can’t wait to see her again. I have her first album: Victim of Truth and will order the second very, very soon! She’s a MUST-listen to anyone who (a)cares about Africa/Nigeria & (b)cares about him/herself. Her music is SOUL music! <3
