very sad and disturbing one. she should have left once the hitting began and with time she would have rebuilt her life. Were this real life, she would be facing life imprisonment or worse be on death row ( here in Naija, there is no diminished responsibility or battered/abused wife’s syndrome).

A lesson to all the single ladies if a relationship is seriously dis-satisfactory, get out of it ASAP.

life is crazy love is crazier…diff folks wit diff tales, just dis last week, i travelled all d way to benue state to celebrate a birthday wit my gurlfrend serving ovr thr, i nevr evn bin on such a long trip in my entire life, spent two days with den decided to take to abuja to giv a treat, little did i know dat i was goin to b shocked, rite thr on d eve of her bday,2.30am on d same bed, she asked for “some time off” wc literarily means a break up for now…i was devastated.
wot ws my crime? nuffin, its jst dat she hs bin dreaming abt som guys she dated fr only few months back den wen she ws in convenant uni and now he’s reachin out to her and she blvs he mit be her husband cos she blvs so much in dreams and d dream kips coming to her….how lame an excuse?…dnt luv too much so u dnt hurt too much peeps… evry is got dat monster driving him or her, only God can help us cos u dnt reali knw folks lyk u tink u do…..praaaaa

Loved the story but what would be the real end of the story ? Did she turn herself in to the police?did she attempt to run away from it all and then caught? did she do one of the above and then charged with first degree murder ? or she was charged with murder but a good lawyer brought her out of it all with proof of severe abuse and was then given a 10 year sentence for second degree murder? Did she tell a different story to the police and was then judged to have defended herself and was given a maximum sentence of 5 years for manslaughter? Fascinating story,well written.
