It was a day of joy and glee as Arinola Jaiyesimi and Korede Roberts tied the knot on Saturday, February 27 2010. The longtime loves have been friends since their teens, over the years, their friendship blossomed into a relationship, now they have sealed the deal as husband and wife. The wedding took place at the African Church Cathedral, Ebute Metta while the reception was at the MUSON Centre in Onikan. The bride, Arinola exuded old world elegance in her strapless wedding gown accessorized with pearls and a birdcage veil. Korede who is the creative director of Fusion Concepts also kept the old world theme in his blue suit paired with a white shirt with a flap collar. Arinola’s bridesmaids stood out in their pink cocktail dresses while the groomsmen complemented them in their blue suits paired with pink shirts. After their intimate and serene church service, the reception was a fun-filled affair with Dare Art-Alade as the MC. The venue looked beautiful as it was decorated with pink lights and swaths. Overall, there were lots of joyous moments filled with music, dancing and excitement.
A gorgeous wedding for a special couple. Wishing them a very blessed marriage.

I love this, the couple, bridal train and their simple dress, everything. Less is really beautiful.
God remember me for good.
Totally love the unique color of the bridal gown but obvious the bolero was an afterthought. The N50 hankies on the bridesmaids heads in church is definitely a no-no. Still a classy affair though. Wishing them d loads of fun and love together always.
la mariee’ est plus que belle.La coupe retro des gars n’est pas trop flattante.le plus frappant c’est la symbiose des marie’, ils sont si mignons ensemble!happy bridal bliss!
I was thinking the same thing about the bridesmaids… It would have been a nicer touch… On the whole, it was beautiful sha. The touches of pink here and there were gorgeous.

@ afro chick, don’t u feel dat they might not be feeling confortable wit
that cheap hankies on them? i think there’s nofin wrong in them covering
up their head wit a 50 naira hanky if that would chase the church urshers
off their backs and would let the wedding go on!
I love the gown and veil. Simple, yet Captivating.
The cake is breath taking.
The colours re fabulous.
