Not sure if a £70,000 for a suit is sensible but I suppose its all relative depending on your spending power. I cant but think of all the lack in Nigeria and how much good 70,000 can do. I hope Nigeria hasnt turned into a ‘got it flaunt it’ culture or maybe am a prayer too late.

In my opinion, the “world’s most expensive suit” looks as ugly as hell. And all the “luxury” elements strike me as rather redundant. Pashmina from the Himalayas, as in seriously?? What happened to good old wool, silk and cashmere. As for the model actually wearing the suit…!

This whole Amosu thing is just the ticket for the vacuous tasteless lagos crowd, who believe something to be superior by virtue of its being expensive. in a recent interview on elan, he said that he was trying to empower and inspire Nigerians by bringing his brand here. Well here’s a way you can help; produce them in Nigeria and create some jobs. We produce nothing as it is, and consume waaaay too much.
