Africa Academy Movie Awards or Nigeria Academy Movie Awards?? Who choses these entries and who organises this show?? Nigeria is not AFRICA!!!
if u’ve followed AMAA from the start u’ll know its fair enough. the most coveted categories are carted away by non nigerians! how many African countries actually churn out ggood scripts?d the very good ones are nominated. if u’v watched the nigerian movies nominated u’ll know that they arent in the league of ‘My father must marry me part 1,2,3″ or ‘sleepin giant Part 4,5,6.
the figurine made it to the cinemas bcos it was well researched not becos of any Idumota, Oba Iweka road connection!
psheeew
I love u…….I am cracking up at work. U’ve made my day. ‘My father must marry me 1,2,3 Indeed……Gosh I can’t stop laughing.
Dear Cythia,
Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, Mozambique, Egypt, Ethiopia, Uganda, Algeria, Malawi (all names listed above) are countries in Africa NOT Nigeria. Nigeria is a country in Africa!!!
Goodluck to the Nominees, Bimbo, Ramsey and Majid are all great actors.
OMG ROFLMAO, this is sooo funny
what u said is so true…..still laughing though,
MAJIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!! dat’s all i can say….
I don’t even understand what the first two commenters are fighting about. It is a Nigeria-based award for African movies. From the entries, other african countries are pretty well represented. Seriously what;s the beef?
LMAO at my father must marry me….i am sure a naija movie with that title is in the works(if there isnt one already sa)…buy you gotta love naija movie titles-NOT!
Majid is HOT!!!!wetin???i will do him in a heartbeat
lmao…..at these comments!!!
AAMA has really been fair in its selection and winners and I believe the organisers deserve the support of any movie loving african. I watch a lot of movies and I’m still happy Funke Akindele won last year. Other “nollywood awards” wouldn’t have dignified yoruba films with a mention. This award is the only one that unifies the industry irrespective of language, background of the ators/producers/directors and I commend them for taking it beyond Nigeria. May the best works win this season!
WHOOOTWHOOOT!! GO NIGERIAAA!!…The FIGURINE BERRA win!!….oh & GUILTY PLEASURES!..Go Nigeriaaa!
seriously!!!!!!!!…….
LOLZ, Idumota connexions
Im just happy Mercy Johnson’s not on the list of good actresses
didn’t even know about these awards. kudos to the organisers. would like to see this integration of talent continue. hopefully francophone africa will get more recognition. some of the best african cinema comes from this end.
A few classes in english would be helpful to both nigerian actors and producers
you fit?
I know you. all talk and no action.
am gonna go 4 ramsey ,the guy is well talented and progremmed 4 movie.he is 10 much.
Though my comment is a bit late, Ive got to say Im so happy d@ Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi and Bimbo Akintola were nominated. They’re both great actresses bt are usually underrated by the public.
OMGOSH MAJID YOUR A STUNNAH MAN YOUR HOT I MEAN DO YEA HAVE ANY YOUNG BROTHER AROUND 17 OR 18 LOLS DNT TAKE ME WRONG ANIWAS UM FANTASIA HULA MEE ON FACEBOOK LMAO
