I have nothing more than to say thank you Lord that I am part of this generation, and not 50 and 40 years back when I would have been too intoxicated with the spoils and greeneries of the land to opose the broad daylight robbery that was taking place then.I would have been lukewarm and guilty like my parents who never hesitate on hammering at how great a Nigeria they once had yet they let it slip away. But today I sand tall and proud on the battle field of time with my head held high, knowing my brothers are soldiers of a good fight warriors of a moral vision and champions of a cause that should neever be compromised.Success is not success until you have had to drg for it.Today they threaten us with failed state. In my generation I dont see any failuredo you?I would not trade this moment for all the lands my eyes can see even if it were America.AM a planner by profession and I have plans of which in due time they too wud be spread.Till then we remain foot soldiers marching to the war front with no retreat on our minds,as a mata of fact they the polytical and gobanetorial armed robbers would surrender.Just sound the siren when its time to march out.

Asking the president to resign or be impeached is antithetical to Nigerians Ideals., it is insensitive and an unnecessary provocation in the wake of the recent bombing in Nigeria. Goodluck4nigerians hope that those calling for the president... to resign or be impeached and their supporters will consider the ramifications of their statements. It is nothing but mean –spirited and a vexatious statement. They should realize that their statement is counter productive and has only made progressive Nigerians up and down the country more determined to see President Goodluck win the election in 2011. Join our campaign on facebook and lets make 2011 a reality for Goodluck JonathanSee More

My fellow Nigerians...I am a President of a well know University here in Nigeria.....I just want to bring this to your notice there is no plan for the future of the Nigerian youth. The Nigeria leaders are building criminals as tomorrow's leaders. So we should please stop them from doing this.

My fellow Nigerians, we are the primary obtacles to should the solution that will move this great nation forward. We have become so comfortable with the system that many so rich don't know that their 'money can buy anything' attitude doing about inflation. No doubt they will dare us to pull the trigger knowing too well we are so unfaithful. I wish they could borrow me their gun, and wait to see what I can do with it. I wish there was no natural resources may be everyman would have been thinking and think deeply. I wish there is natural disaster maybe that will enable us to think like scientists, mathematicians and the likes of this world. How many are wishing right now that their Uncle or relatives is in the government to share part of the national cake. The muscians have tried, seems as if this is the only escape route available to our youths. Look how many Nigerians with their face glued to the screen, wondering what keep them so busy, facebook of cause. Never mind, the boy who made that happened is just 23 this year and his one of the world richest. I wish we are enable to think, but Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) will not let us even to have a reason to think with all the noise in every corners of our streets. O ma se o! Arise the youth of Nigeria, let's say it with one voice - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Say it, and do it like you mean it. inkris is a new global classroom of innovasity where you can step-up with your ideas. Thank you.

The level of Corruption in Nigeria today is becoming too much. But the question is; what is actually the cause of this corruption? The root of corruption in Nigeria today is nothing but what I call TRIBALISM also known as political or individual differences. Imagine a man wil become a political leader etc and after 1st-3rd term in office, his brother, sister or relation will now take over the leadership. This is not proper and encouraging because the fact that 'eat and give your neighbour' still remains the same even though things changes every minute. I must be proud of our past leaders eg Nnamdi Azik, Aper Aku and Amadu Belo to mention but a few. Our happiness is that the person who brings corruption is also corrupt. Remember, people often says ' the person who makes fire is being disturbed by smook' there is no doubt about it. If you are a corrupt political leader, Religious leader or Traditional leader etc remember, corruption will oneday visit and defeat you or your relations or your aged mother or father in the village. Am seriously advocating for the war against corruption in Nigeria so as to bring a new shape to our country Nigeria to wipe away the name 'Nigeria as second corrupt Africa country'.

FOR NIGERIA’S DEMOCRACY BEYOND 2011, BAD MONEY IN POLITICS MUST NOW BE INDENTIFIED, FORCED OUT
One of the greatest problems inflicting moral burdens on the nationhood of Nigeria and with imposition of heavy hindrances on ICPC and EFCC the anti corruption agencies capabilities to fight the evils of corruption to a standstill is the easy way bad money finds floodgate access into the economy.
In Nigeria where money is a ‘god’ worshiped even in churches and mosques with awe of respect and reference better than God Almighty that created the heavens and the earth and consequently where just anybody can wake up an emergency millionaire without a source of income is a monstrous problem torpedoing the socio-economic and political strata of the nation with reckless abandon.
It is right to say that when Nigerian Christians hoarsely shout ‘praise the Lord’ and Muslims shout Allau Akbar with mega force capability far beyond their voices could carry, it all about money. Remove money from the religious equations of National Chairman and the holy fire in them will quench.
If the truth must be said and faced with courage, ninety percent of the highly imposing non governmental buildings standing tall in Abuja Federal capital territory and or in the high brow areas of Lagos would not have been there without bad money.
Unfortunately for the future of the youths of this country and whom General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida recklessly derided as not well educated and therefore incapable of being leaders, money in hand means capability to negotiate for power and far beyond.
This will explain why bad money will dictate to a very large extent the results of the 2011 election in Nigeria.
Irrespective of the good promises being made by President Good luck Jonathan to conduct credible 2011 election, It will be marred by bad money in politics particularly by members of the presidents party the PDP.
This can be explained away with the facts non contestable, one readily available good example of which is the very recent forceful downsizing by President Jonathan of the 2010 budget with a terribly whooping sum of Naira 200 billion up loaded initially to serve the purse of members of the national assembly per se.
Otherwise what reasons could be adduced by Nigeria for the earnings by each national assembly member earning of Naira 42 million per quarter, Naira 144000 per lunch per day, Naira 2.3 billion purchasing armoured cars and or collection of Naira 500 million for constituency allowance et al.
All these apart from the multi billion dollars corruption scandals currently making waves in Nigeria are preparatory to the political thieves commonly called money bags buying their ways as usual to political power at the expense of the terribly impoverished citizenry.
For the much drummed noise war against corruption and bad money in politics to be won, it must be hard fought from the stand point of each citizen right from President Goodluck Jonathan downward henceforth wanting to contest elections in Nigeria and or wanting to purchase and build any structure of value above Naira 10 million and or wanting to invest in business worth Naira 5 million MUST first mandatorily declare his and or her source of income to both the combined team of EFCC and ICPC.

I am worried about the country Nigeria. I am worried about the people and how they still address Yar adua as President when power is nomore with him. It is a felony to accept that honor and to address him as such. Nigeria has no provision for two presidency. No matter how you twist it, call it acting call it proteim, call it interim president Goodluck Jonathan is the Commander in Chief and no other person. Enough is enough of the mess of the presidency. Let me ask Nigerians one quetion? Is Yar Adua and his Turai still in the Presidential Villa ie the Aso Rock? If your answer is yes, What are they doing there? If they do not move out of that place immediatelt then we shall call on every interested Nigerian to make application for tenancy in the villa because the continued stay of Yar Adua and his family in the villa when he is nomore the president is make the villa an Apartment Complex. I will be interested to live there if they do not vaccate. We did not buid the Aso Rock to take care of sick people but for serious government job. President Jonathan act on this or we start to acuse you of double standing. No sentiment no emotion. Nigeria is greater than one person so said Babangida and it is real. Turai has committedso much that she should be by now arraigned in the court for trying to usurp the powers of the president. Continued stay in the Aso Rock is one nailing evidence. She must act now. This should be the first agenga of this group. To drag Turai and her ailing husband out of the Aso Rock. The next is to make sure that the notorious INEC boss is disgracefully removed from office. No fate accomplice.

Youths in naija are trying to tell the world that our generation will not support those old, corrupt, vision less folks who are bent on destroying what they could not build. Is it not shameful that the Libyan ruler is saying all sorts of things about naija? I cant wait to be part of CHANGE in the next election. Indeed enough is enough!

well, whether or not the rally satisfies a personal agenda, someone does have to speak up against the crap that's going on.

There were killings AGAIN in Jos, about 20 women and children were matcheted, STILL after all the outcry. I mean, WHO is responsible for security in Jos? I thinkcitizens need to start holding individuals responsible for unecessary incidents and not the entire government (although it is the entire governments responsibility).
Start putting names and faces to those officials whose lax have allowed these incidents to happen. Maybe then, we will see +ve changes.

I'm excited that the youth are passionate about fighting for the country's cause despite significant discouragements (lack of jobs for one).

Let's see if Goodluck's cabinet reshuffle will change the country's situation for the better.

I do understand where Femi is coming from, but I personally don't like it when Nigerians are finally doing something, something negative has to be said, it's discouraging. Few years ago, there wouldn't have been any rally, people will just sit at home, and talk all day long, about how the country is so bad. When we all support, encourage one another, who knows what can happen next, because it starts from somewhere. I didn't expect this movement to all of a sudden change the minds of these leaders or affect people's lives. I was impressed that they voiced their frustration, showing that they are tired of what's going on, and hopefully it can be heard.

I've always said, Nigeria's problem is really up to the leaders. Everyone knows what the real issues, problems, are but how can we tackle them from the root, when majority of these leaders and older generation are senseless, have no clue, and are not willing to make a change.

How can we rally people together, when there's a big gap between the rich and the poor, when even the educated ones have no common sense, how do we send ambassadors to the grassroots? It's easier said than done. I used to be very passionate about Nigeria. Yah, I'm going back to the motherland, after spending most of my life in the States, which I did, and try to change some things. I actually thought I will get somewhere, having two uncles who hold political positions, and maybe it will help that they are both close to some of the ex presidents, current president, and are in the inner circle. Even though, one of my uncles, has a good mindset, like donald duke, fashola, it's just hard when those kind of people are constantly attacked for doing the right thing. It's a rough one. I've said, Nigeria is all about the survival of the fittest, whoever survives, kudos to you, and if you don't I guess bad luck. The problem is mindset, and how do you begin to change these people's mindset, when they can only think one way, greed, wickedness, selfishness, no common sense, pointing fingers, but fail to look at themselves, including my other uncle. It's frustrating, and the only thing Nigerians can do for now, is rally, movement, etc apart from the fact that you have to protect your own life, so let's start from somewhere, babystep, then maybe big steps, if there's room for it. Nigerians can't really depend on the government to do much, so they have to do what they can to survive, which is what most of them are doing.

You took the words outta my mouth. There are many perspectives from which a view point can be communicated, if u read alot u'll know.

Femi brought his message across using a different style, if u read it again u'll know he's not criticising.

In summary, he's saying, a rally is a good idea, but the men in power arent bothered neither are the masses affected, however, a continous effort will yield results.
