Tara Fela-Durotoye selected for FORTUNE Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership and launches new H.I.P makeup line

Tara Fela-Durotoye of House of Tara has been selected as the only Nigerian participant of this year’s FORTUNE/State Department Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership Program. The one month programme will kick off in the month of March.

The Most Powerful Women Summit and the U.S. State Department established the Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership in May 2006. This public-private partnership places talented, emerging women leaders from all over the world in mentoring programs with FORTUNE’s Most Powerful Women Leaders.

Tara is amongst the beauty business pioneers in Nigeria. She has trained over 400 make -up artists and empowered hundreds of youth through the House of Tara beauty rep program.

House of TARA is one of the top beauty companies in Nigeria. Within the TARA beauty range is a fragrance “Be Inspired” as well as a make-up line which includes foundation, lip gloss, mascara and eye shadow.

The Tara Makeup range recently added a new line of makeup – H.I.P (High Intensity Pigments). The H.I.P range includes tube lip glosses, single pot shadows and a 12-in-1 shadow palette. All the items in the line are named after iconic Nigerian women and tourist attractions in Nigeria including Queen Amina, Queen Idia, and Olumo Rock.
