25k for a crappy room and a matress kept this girl safe. Its easy to stand from the side of priviledge and judge what others do to survive.

Occasionaly I would send credit for her to sell just to hang on. Back to the good news… In the new church she was attending at the waterside, a madame had taken to her and offered help. She was going to take her to plait hair in Togo! She told me about her benefactor and apparently the only thing that stopped her from leaving was her boy… madame offered to place him with her sister. Madames meetings where always held at some fast food were chicken, fried rice and fanta could be taken by my desperate girl and her little son who by this time was calling madame Mommy!
When she told me I warned her to RUN from this woman without arousing her suspicsion. Luckily my friends at New Dawn found a room for her and I got 25k to settle her in. Yes I said 25k. That is all that made a difference in this girls life. When we met later she told me how she looked at her room and cried and thanked God. Im not sure you could say greed would have led her into prostitution. The womans husband is actually my own friend,who did not know what his wife was doing for a living until HIS life got turned upside down by her nonsense.
