Stars, Phones & TV at De Marquee: Photos from the Relaunch of DSTV Mobile in Lagos

DSTV recently hosted a soiree to celebrate the relaunch of DSTV Mobile. Just in time for the World Cup, the DSTV mobile device allows users to experience a variety of programming content on the go. The event was held at De Marquee in Mega Plaza, Lagos and was well-attended by a bunch of celebrities including Julius Agwu, Sasha, Chinedu Ikedieze, Osita Iheme, Omo Baba, Big Brother Africa’s Geraldine, Segun Arinze, IK, Funlola Aofiyebi, Omawumi, Waje, Dakore Egbuson, Lepacious Bose and Adora Oleh.
The event was hosted by Julius Agwu and Moses Perez of Super Sport, there was a brief speech by MNet Nigeria GM, Joseph Hundah, he explained that subscription to 10 DSTV channels will be free until March 2011 (users just need to buy the phone and they are good to go!). There were musical performances by ChiDynma and Dr. SID as well as funny moments courtesy of Omo Baba and Lepacious Bose. Overall, a fun event!
