Nigerian fashion and lifestyle brand, Zebra has earned its place as the go-to label for easy-breezy yet affordable chic infused with African heart and funk.

Lagos Dynamo, the new collection from the Zebra Living, channels the essence of the Zebra Woman – a rose in a concrete world, strong and graceful, darting through Lagos life (and life in general) with style, poise and dynamo.

The clothes in this collection are quintessentially Zebra with a new and slightly daring styling twist!

According to Zebra designer, Ugoma Adegoke – “Lagos Dynamo takes you from day to night and through all the tiers of stylish living with a fluidity and ease you won’t believe“.

Photographer: Toni Tones
Stylist: Bianca Odiete
Make Up Artists: Lola Maja and Jennifer Joe-Alegieuno
The collection will be unveiled this weekend on Sunday August 1st, 2010 at 6pm at The Life House, 33 Sinari Daranijo Street, off Younis Bashorun, off Ajose Adeogun Str. Victoria Island Lagos.

I really do not understand why the models look very ANGRY…
i must confess … the clothes are VERY lovely, HOWEVER,the models are just a
      NO NO !!!
Eye contact POOR… POSES ARE NOT FLATTERING… THEY LOOK LIKE
THEY ARE TRYING TO HARD TO BECOME AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.
.. i recommend the girls get more modelling tips…. EYE CONTACT IS VERY
ESSENTIAL..THEY SHOULD STOP FROWNING LIKE THEY HATE
      PROMOTING THE PRODUCT .

    • skovgaard July 28, 2010 at 5:20 PM

you’ve credited the make-up artists and photographers but forgot to credit the MODELS. Don not forget next time. More important than the others. GO OGHOGHO!!!

    • skovgaard July 28, 2010 at 5:24 PM

It seems like ALL Nigerian designers seem to be doing pretty clothes but no one
wants to do rough, futuristic, raw, street clothing a la Balenciaga, Rad Hourani or Proenza.

This is probably because there is a little market here for such clothing but it would be a fantastic breath of fresh air if such were available here. All these sickly sweet looks are starting to bug me.

    • Loli July 28, 2010 at 11:21 PM

Love, love, love it…the collection is elegance at its simplest. I hate when designers
do too much and over design pieces in the name of couture. Love the colour
palette and design elements can either stand alone or be combined with other
clothes. The designer plays well with accessories and any woman of any
shape or size can wear these clothes. Very chic…bellisimo

    • luvbogg July 30, 2010 at 11:13 AM

really nice outfits…..very wearable…….kudos, usually i dont really look at the model”s faces, i just look at the clothes and how they fit so didnt really notice the frowning models :-)

    • Blossom August 1, 2010 at 5:37 AM

      Go Oghogs!

    • kumzy August 1, 2010 at 8:34 PM

      Now these styles I love!!
Love the way she uses colour….
she should teach lanre- ajayi how to use colours esp with that yellow dress
I believe if the material is already bright, the design shld be relatively simple.
Obviously, this is my opinion so pls don’t attack me if u don’t agree :O)

    • Ozzy August 16, 2010 at 4:28 AM

Awww i absolutely adore the yellow shift dress its tres chic!
