A Magical Afternoon at Flowerstalk with Bez & Cobhams

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon that turned out to be more special than usual.
Inside Flowerstalk‘s floral team room, soul musician Bez along with his band and with a special appearance by Cobhams on the piano, transformed a simple day to a magical afternoon for all.
Bez delivered with a series of songs with accompanying ad-libs that kept the intimate audience enamored, his band provided able support with raps, drums and other instruments – all in sync and then the topping on the cake, Cobhams on the piano! With the great music feeding their ears and minds, guests also enjoyed sumptuous treats from the Flowerstalk tea room kitchen including freshly made pancakes and red velvet cake.
Fab day…You should drop by next time!

The Flowerstalk tea room is open everyday from Monday to Saturday while the Jazz Brunches take place once a month.

Great job guys.
I think it’s a good thing to copy really! who cares whr the idea is coming from, it is not crime, neither is it a bad thing to imitate. i personally like the idea and the pictures are cool too.
Let us copy good thing o jare. Big Brother started from the Netherlands and it has
versions in different parts of the world. Naija people should learn to support good things.
So what if its copied? Like nothing u are doing or wearing is copied! I knw you’ve always eaten always had shawarma, salad, isiewu etc in your village. If Tearooms et al aint ur kettle of fish, its someone else’s. I knw its hard but resist the urge to badmouth!
ADOOSHE–
COMMON SHARRAPPP DIA..
WHO ASKED YOU..
SHAWARMA AND ISI-EWU SHA..(aggressively rolls eyes into back socket)
WELL IN MY OWN VILLAGE OUR SPECIALTY IS POUNDED YAM SO MAYBE IN YOUR OWN VILLAGE NA SHAWARMA DEM DEY CHOP..
FAKENESS ALL THE WAY…
Yamyrisse, you are the fake one here..Please don’t judge unless you have done something original yourself! I am sure you don’t eat only pounded yam 360 days a year… i am sure u also eat shawama, cake, Chinese and other things non- Nigerian… if its not your thing look away don’t put others down!

I totally applaud you man!!!…it’s so sad seeing how much Africans want to be westernized while the whole world is laughing at them man….for real i was shocked when i went back home last year and saw how much naija people have copied everything American sometimes mispronouncing it and also not even understanding the full context in which most of the words they copied are used in America…
Loooll @ Yamyrisse’s “common sharrappp dia..” Loollll… I love you BN
Last time I checked, no 1 is forcing anyone to eat red velvet cakes (although i wouldnt mind that punishment) so if u dnt like stick wit scrumptious poundy or eforiro and leave the salads and red velvet cakes for those who want….. Bsides..ppl will come back frm JD or Yankee and say theres nuttin to do but go to Rehab….see alternative here oh.
The pix look scrumptious…even if a bit too “me, too, ajebo”
BN, perhaps if u’d couched the article thus: “Flowerstalk, next wanna-be talk-of-the-town pulls …” in that vein, and then included the location… we might want to check it out. Maybe a boyfriend or so may get the hint and take his mushy girl out for a romantic brunch…
Westernised, smeshternised! Get real guys. Lord knows delving into poundo, while pleasantly fulfilling, does not beating hearts render — except of course for the satisfying, fulfilling part
