I’m in total agreement with LadyTee, KC, and GirlPower. I don’t understand how
one can make a general stereotypical statement about Nigerian women as a
whole in one region. A region as vast as the US at that… I know several 9ja girls in the states who are natural and several who are not. Same goes for fashion, some 9ja girls in the US
have good taste and some don’t. Just because one US event showcases girls
with weaves does not mean they all have weaves here. Come on now, we
should be united and not constantly hating.

LOL. Some of you people are just pathetic. You see pics of 20 Nigerian girls in Yankee and come to the conclusion that all Naija Yankee babes can’t dress. WTF? I hate to break it to ya’ll,
but there Nigerian girls with poor fashion sense can be found in Naija, Jand and Yankee.

Likewise, Nigerian ladies with sensible taste can also be found in these places.

Clearly the girls in the 3rd and 4th pics also have no weaves in….as well as girls in 11th, 14th, a chic in the 19th pic, 20th pic…I could go on!! as well as the chic who is clearly rocking her all-natural, no-relaxer hair!!! Please, please, please, “Truth” and “Mary007″, stop being bitter and ignorantly blind. Open your eyes! There is a good mix of both weaves and normal hair…unlike in naij were EVERYONE rocks five packs of weave on their head in the blazing 100 degree heat.
If you can’t appreciate (or show us wat u urself look like), then go and jump out a window. Thanks
