On Set With Tiwa Savage: Behind the Scenes at the video shoot for “Kele Kele Love”

She created a sensation on the Hip Hop World Awards 2010 Red Carpet and got everyone asking “Who’s That Girl?”.
That girl is Tiwa Savage, singer/singerwriter/rising star.
Tiwa has been on the music scene in the US for years and has written songs for stars including American Idol winner Fantasia. Now she is shifting the spotlight to herself.
She just shot the video for her single “Kele Kele Love” in Los Angeles and here are the photos.
The song is similar in theme to Cassie’s “Unofficial Girl”. Tiwa sings about how she isn’t impressed by a guy’s wealth and questions why he only wants to see her “after hours” and she isn’t interested in being his “undercover lover”.
It’s a different theme from the usual love songs or heartbreak tracks. The video will be released soon.

Ok there’s only so much i can keep mum about. I have noticed several errors on your website lately. I’m not trying to be too much of a critic! If i’m not mistaken you are suppossedly one of the better Nigerian entertainment websites or something. What ever happened to being professional and actually living up to the persona of being the “better”? I would expect that you have editors(if not, from all indications you need one asap) who actually go through this stuff before it goes up. I always took pride in the fact that you guys did such a wonderful job with entertainment but i also believe that whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well.. Just my 2 cents..

I see a slight resemblance with Mo Abudu. Haven’t listened to the song yet so can’t comment about that.
I don’t get why people are complaining about her makeup…IT IS A VIDEO!!!! She’s not walking the streets like that! It most probably compliments the concept of the video. When Beyonce had on “excess” makeup in the video (VIDEO PHONE), I didnt hear Nigerians complaining about that! Jeeez let the girl do her thing! When she does a video that requires less makeup, i’m sure she’ll wear less makeup…just like Beyonce’s minimal makeup in “Broken Hearted Girl” …Peace.

The people commenting on her make up obviously have not worked on a video set. You have to put on a lot for the camera. I am sure it will look fab in the actual video. Plus NO ONE can deny that she is beautiful and has a beautiful voice. Tiwa pls keep doing you, you are making us proud, I dont see no other naija female doing it on the level you are. I mean we now have an artist that can truly stand aganst yankee artists
