London based Brian Gathii of Kenyan descent is the brains behind streetwear label To-orist (pronounced ‘tourist’).
For his 2010 collection, the pieces were designed to be timeless, trans-seasonal and have signature concepts. They are all handmade, using unique engineered processes like Holograms, Real cork, leather and swarovski. The tribal print tees draws reference from his cultural roots as well as the vibrant London town.
The label also counts English rapper of Nigerian descent Tinnie Tempah (a.k.a Patrick Chukwuem Okogwu Jr) as one of its favorite customers who wears their designs in his music videos and on tour.
