BN On The Radio Playlist Courtesy: Toolz

On Wednesday last week, we brought you the first outing of BN On The Radio featuring: EOAP No. 1, Toolz(Linked here). Keeping with that theme, she compiled for us, her Top 10 Favorite Tracks at the moment.Enjoy, as Toolz switches hats from Radio Personality to Bella Naija Guest Writer

10. Jeremiah Gyang/Skales – Kaunar Allah — This song has been out for a while, but I still get goosebumps when I hear it. It’s packed with so much emotion that Jeremiah delivered beautifully. This is a song I gotta have at my wedding. I may even consider kidnapping Jeremiah and Skales to perform it live.

9. Nicki Minaj/Flo-Rida – Your Love — I’m a huge fan of Nicki’s and this song shows her softer side. She also samples (very well I might add) Annie Lennox who is a legend.

8. Big Boi/Vonnegutt – Follow Us — The beat on this track is sick and the way Big Boi raps is unrivalled, his southern twang definitely does it for me.

7. Dr Sid/K-Switch – Over the Moon — Beautiful song by Dokta Sid, Don Jazzy and K-Switch! I also love this song for a completely random reason, it reminds me of a movie I used to love as a child. It was called The Snowman, and it featured a little boy and a snowman ‘flying over the moon’ lol . I think I watched it over 50 times.

6. Beazy/Shank/Chykay – Bad Guy – Fine, Laid back Naija Hip Hop! From Chykay’s honey smooth intro, to Beazy’s witty lyrics to Shank’s jamo flava…I love this track plenty…from the first time I heard it in fact.

5. Mo’Cheddah – If You Want Me – Babygirl has ‘arove!’ I think she’s awesome and I can’t wait for her album to drop. This song reminds me of an ex…long story!!

4. Da Grin – Ghetto Dreams — He is missed loads, and this song perfectly illustrates his struggle… It makes me want to work harder at everything.

3. Skales/Wizkid – Ori Mi — I didn’t know what to make of this song when I first heard it, but I was sold after I heard it for the second time. They are baaad (emphasis Toolz’s) young guys.

2. Kas – If You Wind For Me — ….Kas was EVIL with this one. I call this ‘poltergeist music’ because everytime I hear it in a club it seems people are possessed by the ridiculously awesome beat!

1.Rick Ross/Styles P – B.M.F — This song is just plain 100% gangsta! I’ve always liked Ricky-Rozay, but it turned into love after this song…The Teflon Don is the baddest!
