This edition is a very unique one but the philosophy remains the same.
These 3 stylish ladies are wearing dresses in seemingly identical styles, bet you can’t guess that these are three different dresses by three different brands.
Definitely shows you that fashion brands draw inspiration from the same pool.
These are one-shoulder asymmetric Grecian-inspired dresses with front and back draping – and a fitted waistband.
A beautiful guest at a recent event wore the blue silk version of this dress. As you can see from the photo, the dress has front and back Grecian style draping with red, blue and silver jewel detailing on the asymmetric shoulder. Our stylish guest chose to pair the dress with high-heeled red sandals, a red clutch and a blinged out bracelet. We love how she swept her hair back in a ponytail as well.
Genevieve Nnaji rocked the peach chiffon version of the dress at the Lagos premiere of the movie – Ije. Gene’s dress is from UK high street brand Lipsy and actually comes without the bejeweled shoulder brooch – That was an addition by Miss Nnaji herself. She paired the dress with black platform pumps and a large structured black clutch. Side parted wavy locks, a delicate bracelet and popping red lips complete her look.
Isio Wanogho was one of the best dressed guests at the recent Fashion TV party held in Lagos. We are used to seeing Isio in long dresses from her label. However, she switched things up for this occasion in a black interpretation of this dress. Isio’s dress has a beautiful jade green jewel shoulder detail and she rocked it with a black jeweled clutch and open-toe black heels. Her highlighted chin-length bob completed her chic look.

4. the dress is her size unlike the lady in blue that got an over size.

Genevieve did rock the dress best,adding the brochure is a plus to her,seeing that the dress doesnt come with one………seeing Isio in a short dress is so different and new,very beautiful i must say but keeping it all black shoes and purse with a black dress,seems a tad bit boring to me,she should have jazzed it up a little.

Hands down Genevieve the colour works perfectly with her skin, and her figure is TDF! I could have sworn I saw Gene’s lipsy dress in store with a brooch on it…oh well.

Genny wears it best, the dress looks great on her. The lady ni black is next although I dont like the black colour and it looks kinda small on her. As for the lady in blue it looks like she’s wearing someone else’s dress it looks too big man!
Isio did better for me. She wore all black but her hair did it …… the shortish hair showed of her neck and really brought to fore the monostrap.
Gene rocked it hard followed by Isio. The lady in blue looks like she needed addtional support or something and I wear my hair like that everyday

The blue dress could be a bit more fitted, its a tad too big but the blue colour and pink/red brooch is a lovely colour combo, primary colours combined always work.
Gene of course!! She wore that dress mahn, I bet Lipsy will be pleased + she’s got a banging body “no homo” lol.. The rest get as im be..

Gen by all standards..blue dress is too droopy..black dress is cool but pretty basic next to Gen’s white outfit.

Best is Isio nice colour i.e. Dress, nice hair, bright smile, lovely posture. Worst is Gene no smile, bad hair (yuck!), bad posture in my opinion the dress will look better on a hanger she didn’t carry herself well enough for me to appreciate it. But pls Gene fans this is my opinon it’s a free world and everyone has a right to one.

GENE definitely!!! That’s another Nike Oshinowo in terms of innate sense of style. I love her personal and professional growth. She’s defintely someone I’d stand in line to get an autograph from. She has STAR oozing from her pores.

Isio Wanogho pulls it off effortlessly. Not too sure about her shoes though and she has a killer wattage smile. Genny; no comments. Don’t want to be called out on being a hater. The blue dress would have been suitable on a taller and slimmer person, maybe blue is not one of her suitable colours.

Is almost a tie between Iso and Genny. The pumps on Genny made her the best. The lady that wore it in blue- it looked more like the dress was wearing her. It is rumpled and oversized on her body.

i really don’t know what u guys r seeing with Gene..her hair is a mess..come on that wig really needs to be comb and washed. the lady in the blue was very much well put together, yeahit is a bit big!! and the one in the black it’s okay but her legs r a bit uneven, i guess u really need to stick to long dresses and skinny jeans.

Def the lady in blue please. Not everything has to be tight and fitted. she looks classy and elegant with the flowing dress and the fabric and cut is age appropriate. The electric blue is beautiful against her skin.
If she had worn something smaller people would have been abusing her that she wants to look like a teenager

the third girl definitely nailed it for me! Genevieve’s hair is too much considering the style of the dress. hair could have been simpler. The length of hers is also too short in a not so nice way! my two cents!
