BN Bytes: Agbani Darego in the February 2011 Issue of Essence Magazine
Posted on Thursday, February 3rd, 2011 at 4:01 PMBy BellaNaija.com
When we launched BellaNaija in 2006, one of our biggest stories was the exclusive feature on Agbani Darego on the fashion pages of Essence Magazine – Click to View.
Fast forward 5 years later, Agbani is gracing the pages of the magazine again – this time in the beauty section. The theme of the beauty article is “Get Sexy & Smooth“. The beauty feature focuses on keeping your skin healthy and vibrant even during the harsh winter months.
Last year, we spotted Nigerian model, Ify Jones also on the beauty pages of Essence. We are proud of both girls!
Check out the photos of Agbani below.

She looks lovely
JUST BEAUTIFUL!
speaking of Agbani, does anyone know when her Stylogenic show is supposed to be airing? it seems like we’ve been waiting for ages!
She has a show coming out? Really? Is it going to air only in Naija? Please let me know. Thanks.
here is where you can read more about it. the show was supposed to have been out by the summer of ’10 after the World Cup. i wonder what happened. maybe not enough people registered?

Nice pictures with a stunning skin. But belle Niger can’t be doing the promotions alone, also Nigeria government shld contribute and help their stars who work so hard to make entertainment poise, I did beauty pageant in Nigeria,it was only NBL was a cooperate organization that supports, the govt did not give no feed. Where have our own first miss world being all this years? Nobody heard anything about her. Nigeria government dnt support young people and its very bad.
With all the problems we have (bad roads, security, bokoharam, bad health & terrible school system) you want the government to promote stars????Seriously? SMDH
Nice to see Agbani working, but this magazine don pay jack.Fatima from ANTM once featured in it and said the money she was paid could hardly pay for her transport back home.Thank God the girl now has BCBGMAXAZRIA contract and all that good stuff.
Oh Queenkiky, I will only correct the most obvious of your errors. First, it’s BellaNaija, let’s get it right.
Secondly, it’s a free market economy; we try to jumpstart innovative progress and hope that our people are entrepreneural enough to figure out the rest. Beauty contests? Not so much. Does the U.S. or U.K. do that? Resounding no.
BTW…many of us knew what Agbani was up to partly due to BELLANAIJA.com.
