Wait, have they fixed light in naij? Because it seems everything else is there.
LMAO
Brilliant comment. Who would believe its the same country that just postponed elections on election day.
L-M-H-OOOOOOO!!!!!!!! How we go do nah? In the absence of 1, zero is useful.
So this has got to be the funniest and most candid comment i’ve read on this website….lmao
Bellanaija,the like button please….LIKE!!
WELLDONE SISTERS’ NDONI KWENU.
@Me:
You wish…
Ok i have a question that leads to further questions….what exactly is been sold here? where are the products that the store is offering? All i see are people in clothes, bags and weaves, cupcakes and strawberries, are u for real?….Show us the products(.. and i am not talking about that background picture of underwear and necklaces) and then show us the people that attended the event. It cant be that hard.
Who/wat do u think the ladies in the 2nd picture are, models or paintings? …smh… and yeah, the lady wit the lollipop is really a cop (whispering). lol
haha, nicely said!
I just gotta comment on them strawberries. As in warra heck? Nah uh, they gotta go! Not looking appetizing at all. Toothpicks? Really? Really? Ok o.
BTW Naija chicks rock! The hosts and attendees (at least most of them) look hawt!
I was thinking the samw thing, the strawberries did not look appetizing at all for an occassion that looked so classy, the caterer has to answer
LOL! I thought the exact same thing about the strawberries, I think it’s just the messiness of the chocolate covering.
btw, i didn’t know they had strawberries in naija! lol, excuse my ignorance but i didnt think the climate would allow for such a fruit. ahhhh…lol
The actually do have strawberries sold in Abuja. where they get them from is another question as the strawberries are kind of strange looking!
Cool event! There’s so much fun in naija honestly!! The hostesses look fabulous.@kemchi there’s absolutely nothing wrong with toothpicks in strawberry-not everyone wants to get their hand soiled at a public event, remember they’re also touching lingerie so it’s actually more hygienic.
aww everyone looked so lovely
Awwww, see Ada, Chinelo and Njide. Congrats ladies – Play Pen alumni doing well!
do any one need a degree to know phones (BB inclusive) should be kept in the bag? and not a palm-pass 4 events…………..Naija! …by the way rily luv the cupcakes.
yay!! Legon babes, go Amina & Nemi!!!
My people please no vex, what kind of hair/weave is that on Ogwa Iweze head. I lime em.
as for the first couple of pictures, pretty girls! and the girl/model wearing the shirt “pretty” her skin is FLAWLESS! such a silky smooth chocolate tone. love it.
the event looked cool.
although the models wearing the merchandise did look a bit tacky.
thanks anyway!
What would happen to Naija ladies if God banned Brazillian hair?? Na Real Wa…lol!
Ban Brazilian hair? somebody say ‘Tufiakwa’!
Tututututu!!!!!T-U-F-I-A-K-W-A!….LMAOOO!!!
#gbam
pure tackiness – why does everyone in Naija have to HOLD their phones especiallly if its a BB- like someone said – its suppose to be kept in your big (FAKE) bag until it rings – you dont have to constantly hold it like that. Pure bushness
Wow! Fantástico e innovadora idea! A first in the FCT.
lol@those strawberries!!!
Odilis’….nice concept!
You family is in a place of power………you can add more to your business of lingerie and stuff! Start a non profit, train people on how to use solar energy….something extra to benefit the society you live in!
Your parents will be very proud
Kudos on the business launch though!
These pictures do not reflect a luxury lingerie store. The presentation of merchandise is very badly displayed. Only the model with low hair looks decent. From the first picture, one would think it was a novelty shop. I do admire our women been entreprenuers, however we should take the time and pay attention to details.
Sorry o…but the models look wack…..
Firstly, the strawberries dont look appetising .I blame the photographer it was too much of a close up.Secondly The in thing now is that every one that wants to be in the spotlight has to have a store and a store opening what happened to the good old days where ppl opened shop and their goods brought customers and they became popular just by hearsay.
Kudos to the Odili sisters very pretty gals.
Looks like there was a memo for white pearls/beads …luving it
brazillian, indian, lace wig all dem weaves!! long hair wld not kill us oh!!
@october girl, u took the words right out of my mouth, the overall presentation seems very tacky and not well thought out, no attention to detail, it seems like something someone just decided to do on a whim, the only thing going on there is the fancy wall paper……….Smh
yay, dats my girl genevieve with d low cut hairstyle. Good to c u gal….dat said, aint got nothn to add xcept i expectd more. wats wit d weave,d bag and d silly posing?
The women who covered their bodies and those who used less make up look more beautiful in my opinion
@Kechy: lemme understand your point. And you are exempt from teaching people how to use solar energy or doing other extra stuff to benefit your society because your family isn’t in a place of power? Since when did pedigree become a prerequisite for giving back to the society? And just because they aren’t all over the internet showcasing exactly how they are doing just that doesn’t mean they aren’t. You probably don’t know them even. You know, for some poeple, it’s not about tooting horns while doing benevolence. They are as free as the rest of us to undertake any enterprise they so wish and if you don’t dig that, then let them be. This world would be a better place if people like you learn to be more appreciative of others (or at least leave them be if you don’t send them), i’m sure your parents would be more proud!
Good venture, all the best in your business.
nice! i would have loved more pictures of the models wearing the products for sale though. i see Nemi and Amina oh! Ex-Legon students looking good!
Skanky looking models. Juicy strawberries (nothing wrong with the toothpicks), beautiful weaves everywhere!!!! not bad
1. What’s wrong with the strawberries?
2. What’s wrong with strawberries being grown and/or sold in Nigeria?
3. What’s wrong with the toohpicks?where’d you have peopel pick mushy chocloates on strawberries from?with their fingers???
4. What’s so “unappetising” about the strawberries? what did you want to see there?does it have to be “your” preference?
Please, let’s try to be very objective with criticism, these people obviously put positive effort to this .If there’s anything worth pointing out, it would be the showcasing of products, but definately not what was ordered to eat, jeeze!!!
beautiful and very creative concept but those models are looking so TACKY gosh.not trying to compare because they are are just starting but take a cue from victoria secrets.these model are not “it” at all.i wont buy if they showed me these models.please next time spend more cash on good MODELS than the strawberries that people are now talking about..lol
can y’all just focus…strawberries?! really is that why we are here?!
Looking good, I must say. Ahead Ahead Naija! http://www.th3rdculture.wordpress.com
Oh Please…Y’all shud hv smtin postitve 2 say at least once in your lives. The chickala is launching her business…So much 4 positivity. Anyways, I see no problem with people holding on to their phones. SOmetimes when you are at an event and you feel a little out place you just want a distraction. Even when I was rocking the 3310 in 9ja I still used 2 hold phone if I’m kinda conscious. I guess maybe because of the movie, you are a bit more alert/sceptical than you should be.
I get the strawberries thang though. Strawberries aint common place in Nigeria. But then I have a hunch that angwalomo might be a bit messy .
Na wa oh! Naija babes and bad belle! Kilodem, make una do una own make we see nau!
positive comment: Great Job ladies on d product/store launch!!!! now to my negative comment: the chocolate dipped strawberries should be refridgerated afterwards….hehehehe
AND Abeg naija women…blackberry phones are not an accessory…..hehehehe…:D
my 2 cents….
@may abeg make u tell dem ooh! naija babes sabi criticize while dem no fit do mak odas see wetin dem fit do self.
kai una wori ooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“If you’ve got nothing good to say then don’t say nothing”. Criticising strawberries. Seriously?!
this is a sex shop and not a luxury lingerie store. i was there ,bn u misled me.
how on earth is that a sex shop, didnt you see loads of lingerie in the store? Because of you i went to the shop to see things for myself. Please nobody misled you, I’m sure you believe lasenza and ann summers are sex shops too.
@ This gurl…. u said ” not trying to compare because they are are just starting but take a cue from victoria secrets “….. like 4 real??? Victoria secrets??… pls add LOL to that comment so i’l know ur kidding….
@ Twinkie… eerrmmm “YES” Ann summers is indeed a sex shop & lingerie… both.
what an entrepreneur we got here…….see medical doctor selling sex toys. at least she has created more job for naija dudes and babes. Pease ya all should be appreciative because its not easy to study medicine and applying it to running a sex shop
