She’s Back! Yes, Funke Akindele of ‘Jenifa’ returns to the headlines and burns up the cover of TW Magazine this April. She talks about life, love and the pursuit of perfection in film making, including being held up at gunpoint.
“They came, robbed the whole hotel and were even singing the ‘Omo Ghetto’ song for me. They took the bulk of the money meant to pay the crew the next day.”

Do we really care for others? Not to mention our neighbor’s dog sef. How really can change come? Sorry oh Jenne baby! The sky is not your limit. Those robbers will not go unpunished! the airbrushing only did the opposite of what its intended to do, it only made the photo look worse. come on now! that person should be fired.
as for the models, smokin hott! love the concept. how many people in Naija can afford to fly anyway (all jokes, but kinda true though). but whatever, i understand the ART behind it.

I’m happy it was only money that was stolen and no life was lost….I’ve done a bit of production myself so I understand about keeping money with you, sometimes it’s inevitable.
I don’t like the editing of this picture, it’s too much! Funny that’s one complain that’s run through all the pictures I’ve looked at tonight. Funke is a pretty lady with a great body, this editing only made look the opposite of that.
Can’t wait to see Jenifa 3!!! Hope it’s the last one though…
