Godwon returned to Nigeria from Houston a few months ago. And in that time, his visibility spiked through the roof. His ability to adapt his American influenced Hip-Hop, with the local Nigerian sound is a feat worthy of note. His debut album Evolution is due to drop on the 18th of this month. The video was directed by Akin Alabi.

Exactly my thoughts, Sephora. While watching this brillant video, I thought about MI’s collabo with Flavour entitled “Number One”. Never thought Highlife combined with Hiphop could sound this good. This is quite a new evolution in music. Big thumbs up to these guys!
