Wow! It has been a while since the last BN Pick Your Fave!
This one has all the elements that we love: One of our fave labels – Jewel by Lisa, an international spin and of course a totally fabulous statement piece.
This ruched skirt by Jewel by Lisa is such a luxe statement piece. The ankara panels and “bandage” effect definitely has the WOW factor.

As we now know, JBL has gone international – with celebrities including Solange and Kelis rocking pieces from the label. E! News presenter Catt Sadler wore the skirt on the show last week. She paired it with a slinky tank top and a waist clinching belt. It is hard to believe that Catt is a mum of 2 with that tiny waist line! She completed her look with black platform pumps.
The yummy mummys are definitely inspiring us to keep looking hot after babies. Mother of 5, Bola Balogun looked stunning and statuesque at the 2011 ARISE Magazine Fashion Week in Lagos. She paired her ruched JBL skirt with a silk shirt and bandage heels in the same colour. Her fringed hairstyle added a stylish edge to the look.
Eku Edewor gave this skirt its debut at the Sax Appeal event in 2010. Jewelette Eku always rocks the label so well. She paired the skirt with a graphic print top also by JBL and a statement necklace. Eku pulled her hair into a clean ponytail and completed her look with dressy black wedges.

Even though i prefer curvy women but i prefer Catt sadler’s look over all, Eku looked nice but the matching top just threw me off, she should have paired the patterned skirt with a plain top or vice versa, patterns everywhere don’t work too well for me unless it’s a short dress, as for Bola Bolagun, nice figure for a mother of five but that shirt..no maam
i guess she looking hot is probably why she is always pregnant. Her husband can’t help himself lol

I hace always said, that prints such as ankara are a bit too much to wear head to toe so it’s better worn with a plain top or bottom. The ‘E’ Girl nailed it!

Catt definitely wore it best. Her accessories are on pt, but then again perhaps she had professional help putting it together. Bola B also looks good!
Eku’s combo is just too busy, I can’t focus properly on the skirt (plus her sandals didn’t make the cut).Bola has the best shoe match, but the shirt just takes the outfit from fab to drab so…Catt Sadler it is for me.

mother of 5??? and still slim and GORG? Bola Balogun you are my HERO! Real Talk! I hate Catt’s top, it looks like a dirty white tank top, but I LOVE her JBL skirt and the fit. Eku looks nice, Bola’s skirt is nice as well. JBL is soo AWESOME!

My vote goes to catt saddler nice colour choice, and the dress sits pretty on her nicely,”he Mother of Five”thats rather surprising, a whole lot of work went in, to maintain that body, kudos to her, Eku Edewor choice was rather lame, its actually a fashion nono, to combine top prints with skirts prints, she should have mixed it up, with a plain design top, and i also dont agree with her choice of shoes
my vote goes out to cat saddler, nice choice of colour, and the tank top clearly fits the skirt, which does a lot to expose her frame, 2nd choice goes to bola balogun, the white shirt doesnt quite do it for me, i felt it was too sloppy and didnt jst fit, the colour thou, was really great, for Eku Edewor, it was a disaster, prints with designs should never be combined like that, it should have been worn with a plain design with tiny details and also bad choice of shoes

Catt wore it best by keeping it very simple with a tank top and light jewellery, big ups to Bola, she does look good for a mother of five, but the shirt is kind of too much for the skirt.
Eku, always beautiful, but matchy matchy is not always great looking except it’s in block colours and I think that huge chunk of jewellery around her neck is not appropriate for a bejewelled dress.
Catt wore it best by keeping her jewellery very simple. Big ups to Bola, but that shirt is a sort of anti-climax to ur overall look. Eku always looks beautiful, but matchy matchy isn’t always a good way to dress, and what’s with that huge chunk of jewellery around her neck?
