The 2011 Elite Model Look Nigeria finale will take place tonight at the Civic Centre in Lagos.
A new top model will emerge as judges – Bola Balogun, Omoyemi Akerele, Seiji Govaers, Millen Magese and Helen Jennings choose the model who will represent Nigeria at the 2011 Elite Model Look International competition which will take place on the 6th of December 2011 in Shanghai, China.
The 2011 Elite Model Look Nigeria finale is set to be a fabulous event with clothing and jewellery from Eki Orleans, Republic of Foreigner, Swimwear by Melissa Odabash (Temple Muse), Vintage with Virgos Lounge, Bridget Awosika, Jewellery by Kristos & Anita Quansah London all on display.
An African model has never won the Elite Model Look International top prize. Will one of these girls change that in 2011?

These pics r somewhat inappropriate for a modeling shoot. Its not all the time that sex sells. Trust it’ll be a fab event nonetheless and I like that elohor is consistent!
The girls are lovely and the photoshoot good. But the expression on their body and faces seems like a wrestling contest, they should loosen up a bit… Cos we can’t even appreciate the cars with a fighter posing in front of it. There should a little more of passion and love for the car and the job!

My word, @yori & @huh, no offence but I beg to differ. Skinny girls r not ncessarily malnourished, I knw quite a number of pple who remain thin no matter how much they eat. Sometimes the same applies to fat pple who can’t lose weight.
Secondly I don’t understand this disdain for brazillian hair, women have been using weaves for decades and no one ever complained. Besides, all the models above are in bone straight hair so I doubt its brazillian. I suppose we all should ditch relaxers and carry natural hair, or shave it off completely to be more “african”!
And foreign cars??? Yup! I completely agree that nigerian cars should have been used(seriously???)
Lastly, all the designers for the show are african. That should be enough promotion no?

uhm….and these girls are HOW OLD again? using their bodies to sell sex and what not. it looks nice, but i dont like the concept.
I would like to believe that this photo shoot is about beautiful models and beautiful cars in which case I would expect to some kind of passion to show. There should be a synergy. the way I see it, the girls appear to be afraid of touching or lying on the cars, or perhaps they were not given that liberty.
All the models look the same and none stood out for me. The photo shoot was overly sexual. I was half-expecting a male porn star to appear in the next pictures. poo poo poo. Don’t like it one bit. the poor girls were posing like they were ‘modeling’ for KING magazine.
Brazilian hair haters lets hear word abeg! Long live the weaves!
