Road to Miss World: MBGN World 2011 Sylvia Nduka Strikes A Pose
Posted on Wednesday, October 5th, 2011 at 2:43 PMBy BellaNaija.com
The last time we featured MBGN World Sylvia Nduka, BN readers were not pleased with the responses she gave to the Miss World 2011 Online Q&A.
Sylvia is hard at work preparing for the prestigious pageant and hopefully she will shine on the Miss World stage on the 6th of November 2011.
The pageant will be broadcast LIVE on Silverbird TV.
Check out the new shots below.

that bod is banging!
.
First! yay!!!! ok I’ll be back to comment lol.
nothing for you :p
PLS MAKE US PROUD JUST AS AGBANI DAREGO DID SO STRAIGTH UP MISSSSSSSSYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
i must confess , her pics r hot.
BEAUTIFUL NO DOUBTS BUT PLS DO WELL TO COACH HER ABOUT POISE AND HOW TO ANSWER QUESTIONS CONSTRUCTIVELY AND INTELLIGENTLY
Well,I wish her good luck…dats all I can say.
Her PR team is doing a great job! They are soothing my burn, cos I was burnt when she won. Kudos. Fly our flag high *wink*
tot dat was a tattoo in d last pic for a sec.lol..all d best beautiful!!
Same here oh! I was about to ask what kind of disgusting tattoo is that on her lower back but then I rechecked other pics and discovered it was a logo.
*sighs* i actually tot it was just me…alas, its a photo watermark, lol!!!
Heeeeeey,am i d first or not?ok very luvly pose frm our beauty queen.she’s got a hot body 2 die 4.
@Precious, I quite agree with you about being coached on how to answer questions intelligently and constructively……on the other hand, she looks really polished, wow! I can’t even place her with her initial pictures. kudos to whoever’s in charge!
The babe is fine no doubt, but her beauty is not unique, its like the girl next door kinda look. Anyways with God Impossibility is nothing.
thankyou!!…she’s not wow!!…some of the pictures were even photoshoped…..me dont know sha but i’ve seen prettier MBGNs in my times…:-(
thank you…too much photoshopping
ITS OBVIOUS SHE HAD CONNECTIONS TO HAVE WON THE PAGEANT, BCOS LORD KNOWS THEY WERE FAR MORE BEAUTIFUL GIRLS WHO DESERVED TO WIN..
I thought I was the only one thinking that. I still think the chic with the red hair would have been a waaaaay better queen.
thumbs up, she looking wam bang hawt
shes beautiful………….yeah we know. hoping and praying and crossing fingers she answers the questions “beautifully” too
http://lucianochinwe.blogspot.com/
@TRUTH TELLER WAT I MEAN BY POISE IS DAT ITS A DIFFERENT SCENE WEN ON STAGE LIVE N U STILL EXUDE SUCH GRACE N POISE DAN WAT UR SEEING NW.THEY R TAKING THERE TIME TO GIVE HER A GOOD SHOOT,SHE SHOULD KNOW HW TO HOLD HER GROUND WEN LIVE WITH OTHER CONTESTANTS NOT NOW THAT SHE’S RELAXED IN NIGERIA.
Well, there is hope for the living. Sylvia just might make us proud after all.
BTW, BellaNaija appears to have misused a comma in the opening sentence of this post. BN writes “The last time we featured, MBGN World Sylvia Nduka, BN readers were not pleased with the responses she gave to the Miss World 2011 Online Q&A.” Delete the 1st comma and you have a grammartically correct sentence. I’m allowed to gbagaun as a commentator, BN is not allowed to gbagaun as a writer. *Just saying*
Thanks
@Aibee, remove the second ‘R’ from the word ‘grammatically’ and you’ll be just fine. *wink
Lmbo!!!
LOLEST
I guess you missed the part where she said she’s allowed to gbagaun? Hmmmm
sylvia looking polished i must confess, pls make us proud top 5 @ least wont b bad o
Though I didn’t support ur MBGN victory,I have hope after going tru dis pics. Ur very beautiful buh pls represent us well. I’ll root 4 u till d end. Legoo!!!!
is dat a tatoo in d last pic?
No, it’s a watermark on the photo.
she looks beautiful but when she’s answering she better state that she doesn’t know how to speak english so that they would hire an interpreter to translate the Igbo/ into english while she’s speaking so that she would not embarrass us.
LMFAOOOOOOO
hahahahahahaha that`s just toooo Funny
abeg she has a regular look….nothing fantastic
This girl is becoming extremely pretty each day. i don’t know if its the pomp and pageantry but dann she’s lookin hawt. Lovely pics lovely body, though it seems she has lost weight. I wish her well and hope all this finness transforms her articulations.
Thumbs up!
She looks Φkγ̲̣̣̥…am finer Dan her….SMH….
i agree!!
hope say she don sabi speak grammar now
That hair colour is so beautiful, it really highlights her skin beautifully. <3 it!
Please make sure you use the “packing gel” hairstyle that Agbani used o….see how it worked for Miss Angola
Chai, you just stole my comment. This is exactly what I was about to write.
I am glad at how she looks now. SOmething is different about this girl oo. As in, she is getting prettier and prettier. Wetin dey shele now? Which cream she dey use? Body glowing differently… Biko make una pack her hair up for the pageant o..
Lol…yes o. (in an Afro-candy type voice) “All my single African babes, if you wanna get yo man make sure to stock up on that Olive oil eco packing gel”
hahahhhahahahhahahhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, dont kill me o
Beauty and no brains, I wish her luck
LOL @ ebi, you don kill me finish!!
Hopefully, as part of her package she will get an english teacher to help sort her out.
Beautiful lady!!
Sylvia looks photodhopped!
LMAO @ e-BUKUN; I agree with you sha! packing gel works wonders for the African queens! This is a serious upgrade from the last one! Thumbs up to them for listening! And she does look gorgeous! i agree with ebi; a translator can be used! lol
YAY for photoshop
AH!!! Thank you for seeing the real thing!!
Ok dese shots are much much much better! But yea she needs more work on her IQ…Agbani had both beauty n brains! well, goodluck sha!
@Ebi, hav u heard her speak dat u’l b suggesting a translator for her? I thot we read (not heard) her remarks. Y r u and ur cohorts so tribalistic, so Igbophobic? @BellaNaija.com: pls u guys shd start to strictly monitor d sort of comments ppl make on dis site. I believe ds site is meant for reasonable minds devoid of ethnic sentiments and odium-dis is not nairaland.com. U guys pls ensure dat comments from divisive elements r TOTALLY blocked! Av bn noticing a trend- once its Igbo, d ‘phobics’ wil emerge. Is it a crime now dat Igbos often win d pageantries?; or are d Murray-Bruces now Igbos too? Talents n Gifts can never hide. @BellaNaija, pls live up to this. Thanks.
oh pls i’m Ibo and it has nothing to do with that….pls didn’t u watch the show?…u say comments shud be blocked then u call humans made in God’s image divisive elements…get over urself man!!!!….Ibos rock but the babe fall our hand period…u are the tribalistic one to have even looked at it that way…the only reason peeps are asking for an Ibo interpreter is cos she’s Ibo!!!….shikena!…she could have easily been Yoruba or Hausa or even Ibibio but she’s not…its sentiments like this that’s dividing Nigeria….abegyy!
yes i have heard her speak before, like Missy said ” did you watch the show? if you did you would not have posted your comment, i’m just stating that when it comes to grammar, this girl would disappoint us ; I could have easily said that they should hire a yoruba, efik, hausa , or even a nupe translator to translate ( that’s if she was from any of those tribes) while she’s speaking so that does not mean that i’m tribalistic, i’m just speaking the truth.
nice shots not quite feeling the hair though could do with some improvement
i thank God for photoshop oh! but seriously, we all know this girl is not gonna get to the first 15. why even bother?
All the best girl, btw nice pictures!
Pretty Lady… Keep the flag flying!
If only the photo shopped pictures were going to be used…but its her real self that would be there which isn’t all that great…magazine cover,Yes..beauty pageant,No.
Dang! She has a beautiful body mehn!!!! Argh!!!!
it doesnt matter wot pple say, u ve won u ve won, wish u all d best gal.
all the best. pls let ur traditional costume and ur talent be breath taking at the miss world pageant. also be confident to answer questions. we luv you!!!!!!!!
Nice pics You have got here….She jst have to read more and ask qsts to enable her gve intelligent answers when need for that arises…..
you are beautiful, no matter what anybody say. Don’t let ‘em bring you down. Just carry yourself as d Diva u ve always been and let them idlely wag their tongues. Ride on girl!!!
she makes photography sooooooooooooooooooooooooo painful. long way to go
She really looks like Genevieve!! these shots are better..Hope she’s working on her speaking skills..The Miss World Stage is larger, she should be prepared, wish her all the best
they are trying sha…..
I like the fact that they used real lagos to shoot the pictures, it makes them more realistic.
@ebukun lolz very funny…………………. shez pretty though
she cant make it. nothing about her is waow even with the photoshopping
This is some serious photo work cos she isn’t even dis light skinned to begin with 4 reference go back 2 her former pictures.
Light-skinned? Are we looking at the same person. Sylvia is dark-skinned woman. Maybe the threshhold for being called light skinned is lower in Nigeria than other places. In any event, she looks good. I hope she will display the type of poise and intelligence that Ms. Brazil displayed during the Miss Universe competition.
wadever!!!! my girl’s rocking!!
please all you commentators leave this girl alone. How many of you are so fluent in English plus try speaking in front of a huge crowd. Wish her luck.
Why the criticism about her lack of grammar or poor English??? How many Nigerians can actually speak, read or write English??? At least the poor girl had the confidence to go out there and take part in a beauty pageant, not something I can say for most of you critics typing from the comfort of your home
she’s very pretty
Whoever says Sylvia Nduka isnt beautiful is just a HATER!!! Wet your legs, don’t wear slippers then go and hug a transformer. That’s your prize for best HATER. What? I wish her the best at the Miss World Pageant.
P/S-Some of y’all making those silly comments are prolly fat, stretch-marked,sagging-bodied,ugly-nosed, lace-wigged but maybe eloquent that’s why. Sad your mirrors can’t help you. She won and will be heading for the MISS WORLD pageant soon-That’s a BIG DEAL. Deal with it or find a new way to live your lives..
LOLOL… She is not the most beautiful girl in the world but she’s pretty. And maybe yes these photos were photoshopped, if na you dem photoshop u will still look BLEEEEH
na wah for photoshop o…..still doesnt have brains.
she is beautiful!!!!
Diva Bad mouth go contest now if d tin easy like dat
Well i wish her good luck sha… but i hope we all know she isn’t even going to smell that thrown. Don’t insult me oh but she cant speak English well thou, cant say much about her content yet- sigh but nahhhh i dont see her going far in that competition.
Her pics are hot,but is nt just bout d beauty, inteligence counts! I jst hope ur english is as polished as the picture
Even with the photoshop babe dont lokk pretty at all, it hurt me when she came 1st runner up. Sorry to bust yall bubbles, no was she will make it. We need to start shopping for real beauties and polish them before international events. Look at mis angola who won Universe now thats beauty and brains! im disappointed at silverbird and how the treat n pick these girls, throw them to the lions and they come back with nothing. Bella u never post my comments i will like to see this one.
hmmn….beautiful/Olodo girl.
why she change her colour, is not encouraging, plz show examples blc charity begins at home, i whish u de best.
do you guys think a Nigerian queen will ever win the miss world pageant again. i don’t think its possible because the competition that is done here is fake. the girls that win sometimes don’t worth it
