Congrats to Wizkid, the young Nigerian musician won the “Best African Act” award at the 2011 MOBO Awards which took place tonight in Glasgow, Scotland.
British Musician (with Nigerian Parentage), Tinie Tempah was an award winner as well as he won the Best Hip Hop/Grime Act prize.
Unfortunately, Wizkid missed the awards ceremony due to work commitments. Congrats to Wizkid & Tinie!

I won’t pretend to know the travel requirements for the UK since I’ve only visited England, but doesn’t a UK visa grant you entry to all four territories? Wizkid just returned from London recently, where he performed and granted interviews. And he’s gone a number of times. You guys don’t have to be spiteful. He’s a Nigerian act that has represented the country, but many of you are dissing him when you should be celebrating him. IMO, if it was visa expiration, I’m sure he would’ve been able to get it renewed even on short notice considering the magnitude of the awards (at least in the UK). Congrats Wiz!
