Africa Fashion Week 2011- Day 1 | A Recap
Posted on Friday, October 21st, 2011 at 10:57 AMBy Ijeoma Ndekwu
Mataano, Stefania Morland, Marianne Fassler & Tart all showcased their S/S12 collection on day one of Africa Fashion Week. Mataano stuck with tropical florals and colours reminiscent of the spring/summer season (click to view collection), while Stefania Morland played with black & white (click to view collection). In the collection from Marianne Fassier, we see tie-dyes & ombre dyes re-define colour block while the collection from Tart features fluid and body conscious silhouettes in black- this season seems to be reinforcing the classic LBD!

I picked up a few favourite pieces, but not as many as I had hoped. I am excited to see the collections showcasing today!
À bientôt!
