Mattade
1st Song:
Adele – Rolling In The Deep
Mattade, thumbs up for singing this very deep and emotional song from Adele but we couldn’t help but notice his bad pronunciation of the lyrics. With that said, his performance was passionate and the audience totally loved it!

2nd Song: Flying Without Wings by Ruben Studdard/ Westlife
Mattade delivered a solid performance. He started off a bit shaky but gained confidence as his performance progressed…he was rewarded with a standing ovation.

Vicky
1st Song: The Corrs – Runaway
My mother always told me to beware of ladies in red and she was proved right when Vicky came on stage with a dazzling red dress as she sang the hit single “Runaway” by The Corrs, Vicky’s performance was superb.
Well done Girl!

2nd Song: Diana Ross – He Lives In You
We are all in Vicky’s world, this song is an all time favorite and we are so in love with her for pulling this off.

Enrique Iglesias – Hero
Yes!!!
Finally Christian really went out his comfort zone and delivered a strong performance.
We noted that Christian has several celeb friends including Nollywood actor, Francis Duru! We are sure this star backing will help his voting numbers.

Judges

Valerie
Cool FM’s radio sensation Valerie was this week’s guest judge, she noted that all the contestants started off slow but picked up the pace. According to Valerie, it will be very hard to choose a winner as the final 3 lineup is very strong!

Olisa Adibua
In-house judge Olisa Adibua was very positive this week. Olisa commended Christian’s performance and also had cheerful words for Mattade as well. According to Olisa, Mattade finally justified why he was brought to Lagos for the final 10 and he advised him to use the microphone stand while on stage because without it he looks awkward.

To Vicky he said “my vocabulary is out of superlatives to describe your performance“.

Onyeka Onwenu
Nigeria’s Lady of Songs, Onyeka Onwenu said there were no lowlights for her.
She said Mattade really improved because of the feedback from his last performance, and said she enjoyed Christian’s performance. When it came to giving her final verdict on Vicky, Onyeka wasted no time in saying ” Let a woman win this competition”, she said she has fallen in love with Vicky’s spirit calling it “A beautiful spirit” and finally wished everyone of them the best!
