The December Issue of Genevieve Magazine is now officially the “Wedding Issue“!
Last year, we had then bride-to-be, now married mum of one Dakore Akande on the cover; For 2011, Model Mum Ojy Okpe seizes the spotlight as she talks to Genevieve about her life as a married mum of two. She also shared information on her new career role as a movie producer.
There are many more exciting wedding-related features in this issue including “three brides looking back” – Betty Irabor, Dr Alero Roberts and Joke Silva.
According to Genevieve team,
When we see new brides dressed up, we most times go “aww,” but would we say the same decades down the line? With this in mind, the G-team decided to pick our brides and shh… revamp their bridal wardrobes. Is it a coincidence that all three brides happen to have the same career lines as their spouses? To be honest, yes! Not until after the selection did we realise this. Behind these smiles lie years of priceless moments, tears and joy that time and tide cannot erase. They walk us through their odyssey and look back at the day it all began and the journey thus far…
There are many more features to look out for! A special Weddings by MAI bridal fashion feature, “It’s All About the Dress” featuring Blogger Linda Ikeji, Actress Matilda Obaseki and TV Personality Jumai Shaba. The ladies picked out wedding dresses that they would choose for their big day!

Bella, the wedding dress Ojy Okpe is wedding is by Luca Luca (Luca Orlandi – Oluchi’s husband) not by MAI. And that was her wedding dress she wore eight years ago. I luv this edition of Genevieve Mag. Kudos to the Genevieve team *wink*
