This is a nice change of pace from the Nigerian “pop” that dominates our airwaves.
With all the bombings and negativity in Nigeria this season, it is great to see some positiveness via pop culture. It’s a nice video for Funke Akinokun‘s song “Love is What We Need“. The video was directed by DJ Tee and features a host of Nigerian gospel musicians, actors and media personalities.
Check out all the stellar vocal performances by the artists featured in the video…Onyeka Onwenu, Pat King and more!

er…no offence but with these many stars I know y’all could have come up with a better song.
Amen, it does seem like some king of song that can be done like 2 yrs ago
The vocals are beautiful. Enjoyed their voices.
WOW!! NICE!! We have a lot of talents in this country oh!! There were some amazing voices in the video I have never heard about before. Good work guys!! If only Nigerians will listen! All this senseless violence really needs to stop! God help us!!

Thanks for wearing Nigeria, Onyeka! Nollywood people seem to be parting from that now. They need to know that they are our ambassadors. They need to present our brand to the world. It does not reduce their worth in any way.
beautiful song
Ah gosh, when i saw Shan George my heart skipped, i was so scared because I thought she was going to sing, but she didn’t, phew! Thank God! acting is her talent, not singing. Nice song though.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!
the real star here is the guitarist….simply sublime! the chorus is catchy too. its the kinda song that grows on you. Not bad, could be better, but not bad at all
If the very gr8 songs of recent times should be listed, this is definitely gonna top d list as it must’ve touched every lives that has listened to it; this is very good. Thanks for this wonderful work, God bless u all.
