On Wednesday 21st of December 2011, close friends & families of Adenrele Sonariwo & Damilola Amolegbe gathered at the coveted Civic Center, Lagos to introduce their vision for the first solely Arts University in Nigeria – The Modern Day School of the Arts. They presented the “For The Love of Arts” fair, which featured over 40 pieces of art work(s) from artists such as Mode Adenirokun, Agahome, Karo Akpokiere, TY Bello, Victor Ehikhamenor, Libran Eye Photography and many others. There after, there was an entertainment night event aimed at promoting and creating the Arts Industry in Nigeria.
The event which was hosted by the always dapper - Ebuka Obi-Uchendu & Oluwafeyijimi Sodipo (Miss Nigeria, Queen Ambassador 2011) was a sure sight to behold. The hosts introduced The Modern Day School of the Arts (MDSA) – a training institution that is set on advancing literacy in the community, promoting quality education and encouraging the creative performance of individuals. The goal is to grow into becoming Nigeria’s foremost institution for education of the arts

She also shared with the audience the curriculum which includes – Fashion Design, Media, Interior Design/Architecture, Advertising/Graphic & Web Design, Film, Photography and many others.
