Glo Unveils G-BAM Hi 5ive at University of Nigeria, Enugu! Photos of Flavour, Glo Ambassadors – Monalisa Chinda & Nonso Diobi at the Launch

One of Nigeria’s biggest telecommunications company – Globacom recently introduced new and innovative products and solutions aimed at exceeding expectations of target market with the launch of Glo G-BAM Hi5ive in the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.

Glo G-BAM Hi 5ive which was launched late last year in Lagos, allows all Glo subscribers call five special numbers at only 5 Kobo/Sec. It also offers subscribers several other attractive benefits including free airtime, free night calls and lowest SMS charges in the Nigerian telecoms market.

The Enugu launch which took place at the White House Auditorium in the University premises was anchored by the town’s popular comedian – MC 2 Can Talk  and had in attendance students and officials of the University including Nollywood actors and Glo Ambassadors – Nonso Diobi and Monalisa Chinda.

Chinedu Orji (Glo Business Director) was also at the Enugu launch. He highlighted the many benefits of the package and told the students to take full advantage of the offering to be among the 250 students that will earn $5,000 scholarships every quarter. He also highlighted other unique selling points of the package which includes affordable call rate of 5k per second to 5 friends, free weekend chatting, N 5,00 free airtime on recharge, free Facebook browsing and Free night calls.

The Student Union President –   Comrade Sunday Okereke in his remarks thanked Globacom for always remembering the university both in promotional activities and CSR initiatives. And he encouraged the students to visit the activation camp that will be stationed at IJ airport in the school for 6 days from the launch date and also to migrate to G-BAM to win fantastic prizes like  blackberry phones, RCVs that will be available to lucky subscribers. Students who migrated to GBAM during the launch went home with lots of gift items like T-Shirts, face caps, Nokia and Blackberry phones. A 3rd year Medical student – Emmanuel Uche was one of the lucky Blackberry phone winners.

Non stop entertainment was the order of the day as music acts Enugu Home boy – Flavour, DJ Ree and African Shakira thrilled the students with their hit tracks until 8:45 PM when the event was brought to a close.
