I agree, Arise Fashion Week wasnt really a trend setting event which is important if its going to be taken seriously globally.

looooool
As in ehn jane n jimmy I rili agree..rili tryna understand wtz happnin here..itz AMFW for christsake!rili disappointin
liked the first fabric but thts all. not feeling this
just seems the models picked dresses outta their own wardrobes and strutted down the runway.
more like for teenagers, nice though
Why do I feel I am in ikeja market all of a sudden?
pls make a u turn!
am also an upcoming designer, i just feel most designers dese days r lazy, we do not give much thought ,research to the work like we shuld. imagine other professions say medicine 4 example, wen a new cure is 2 b released 2 d public, we all know d amount of work , research, efforts that is put in2 it, bt in fashion 2 become a designer and release a collection , most people do absolutely no research as a result we ve all dis mediocre collectn . as designers we r suppose 2 set d trends, do futuristic styles nt jst make somethings sha n release.
i hp 2 release ma 1st collection soon, n wen i do i hope it brings smiles 2 all faces, a cure 4 a fashion disease
just too plain and simple. there’s nothing stylish about this collection.
I don’t think there’s anything here we haven’t seen before….
*yawns*
Apart form the 1st and 2nd dress which i like, the rest are NO! NO! for me….
is this a runway collection?
looks so amateurish not at the standard sorry
Mie u hit d nail on d head! I think I have better outfits in my wardrobe than what this designer turned out perhaps she needs to get some inspiration from my wardrobe am just bored with this collection.
stop hating on her. i have seen her previous collection, and some of her works. they were very nice and wearable. she is on the simple side. not everybody has to over do it. so lets encourage her. she’s an upcoming designer. stop the hate
its not hate, you are called a designer cos you DESIGN clothes……she didnt design any of this stuff. she just copied primark designs. its sooo boring!!
Simple shouldn’t mean no creativity or design whatsoever. She just gave us a few pieces from every Obioma’s look book out there. Hitting the snooze button.
Edgy, classy, modern and sophisticated…I love
nothing interesting but i know she can do better…. madam, please be a little creative
guys guys a lil help! need an internship wt a great nigerian based designer, suggestions?
