Karen Igho, Denrele Edun, Laide Bakare, Osita Iheme, Nikki Laoye & More give support to Lamboginny’s “Freedom For Helpless Inmates” Outreach at Ikoyi Prisons

Celebrities including Laide Bakare, Jafextra, Denrele Edun, Karen Igho, Flowssickk, Nikki Laoye, Osita Iheme, Dede Mabiaku and more gathered together with hip-hop artiste, Lamboginny on the 23rd of March, 2012 at the Ikoyi Prison in Lagos for the “Freedom For Helpless Inmates” programme.
Yinka Lawanson “Lamboginny” gave music a different meaning on the 15th of October 2009 when he started the ”Lamboginny Say No To Crime Concert” in different prisons in Nigeria, which over 40 top Nigerian celebs have joined him in five different concerts. The Dancehall Recording Artiste was made an Honourary Nigerian Prison Officer by the former C.G of prisons Mr Olushola Ogundipe (OFR,mni) as he constantly fights to re-orientate youths on the pains of crime and help with the re-instatement of freed inmates, back into the society. With his never dying passion to help inmates. “Lamboginny” came back again with this initiative ”Freedom For Helpless Inmates” to help ex-convicts find their way into the society and also educate the general society on forgiveness and acceptance. The first edition of this great initiative took place at Ikoyi Prisons, Lagos where 32 helpless inmates with minor cases, from different prisons in Lagos state got freedom.
Well done Lamboginny and other celebrities that supported him for this wonderful intiative.

a very worthy and different cause. Some of these inmates have totally lost hope of life. May this cause never fade.
I think the ladies should have given up trying to look cute, and dressed less enticing…..before you pple eat me raw, remember these are male prisoners who have been incarcerated for Lord knows how long. No point tempting them….
Regular jeans and tshirt might have been more appropriate than fitted dresses, see through tops and skirts

@Boo I know what you mean but leave that thing. Whether it’s a skimpy dress, jeans with a T or aladura white garment AND whether they’re prison inmates or Ivy league educated executives, sex and the possiblity of sex are ALWAYS on a man’s mind.

never heard of this lamboginny guy,he is really good . God bless him,pple should really be aware of what goes on in our prisons today and am happy some privileged ppl are taking good steps. giving back the freedoom of some inmates is also nice, u wouldnt believe how many pple are in prison 4 minimal offences such as stealing of a 4,000 naira fone. thank God 4such awareness,i hope to be in a position to give back 2my motherland.
