The music of the Afrobeats legend, Fela Kuti lives on.
(RED) and the Red Hot Organization have come together to run a ten-day fundraising campaign to end mother-to-child HIV contraction by 2015 called (RED) Rush To Zero which starts on June 1st.
Also, as part of this partnership, a new Fela Kuti compilation “(Red) Hot + FELA” will be released. This compilation will feature a cover of Fela’s “Lady” performed by the celebrity drummer of The Roots, ?uestlove; poet/singer/rapper Akua Naru; Benin’s number one music diva, Angelique Kidjo and the experimental indie band, tUnE-yArDs. The single will be made available June 1st on iTunes.
