Vintage Inspired Fashion Label Shakara Couture to Officially Launch its Brand & Open its Flagship Store in Lagos this Weekend

Lagos stylistas, it’s yet another time for you to wear your sky high platforms and figure hugging frocks as Nigerian fashion house Shakara Couture will officially launch its label and open its flagship store in grand style this Saturday.

The family run label founded in 2004 and led by a creative director professionally trained in millinery, dress making, fashion illustration and personal styling will showcase its ready-to-wear collection which includes dresses, blouses, skirts and accessories that will be made readily available for purchase at the store.

Influenced by vintage glamour and inspired by timeless elegance and fashion of the 1920s and 1950s, the label is set to bring into the Nigerian Fashion industry like never before, a fusion of African and Western Vintage fashion using African tribal print, tie and dye, lace, embroidery and bead work.
