This July 2012, renowned beauty academy Make-Up Designory (MUD) known for providing quality education in the craft of make-up artistry has officially announced its training set to take place in Lagos, Abuja and for the very first time in Calabar.

To commemorate the opening of their Yaba studio, MUD has made preparations to organize a 2 week intensive training in make-up artistry with options of either weekend or weekday training to make it possible for all to learn from the renowned grooming brand while a full month training will hold in its Lekki, Lagos studio as well as in Abuja and Calabar.

All prospective students at the various training venues will be taught by skilled professionals on these topics;
Beauty 101 – Make-Up Fundamentals

  • History of Makeup
  • Sanitation (Skin Care Regiment)
  • Eyebrow Grooming
  • Face breakdown
  • Foundation Principles and types of Make-Up
  • Makeup Tools and its uses

Beauty 102 – Face Framing Techniques

  • Shadow Application
  • Eyeliner Application
  • Lips
  • Cheeks
  • Eyebrow Threading and Waxing
  • Highlighting and Contouring
  • Eyelash Application

Beauty 103 – Beauty MUDefined

  • Bridal Makeup
  • Natural/Flawless Make-Up
  • Basic Runway and Fashion Make-Up
  • Bridal hair and studio hairstyling for makeup artists
  • Gele Tying
  • Marketing yourself as a makeup artist

After completion of the course, all students will be awarded their official MUD make-up certificate.

Weekend Classes

Optional Product Packages
The optional product packages have been designed for students to equip them with the necessary tools to practice within and outside the classroom and also to start their careers as professional make-up artists. They are optional and they are not part of the required fee for the course. All registered students receive a select set of products as part of their tuition at no additional costs.     i just finished the MUD program and i must commend them for really looking out for their students. they have given me 2 job referrals since. two people from our class were even hired as staff. I visited thier new studio in abuja to pick up my certificate and realized all the staffs there are old MUD students…thanks MUD, especially Dave the instructor….am finally doing what i love……

    Trust me 60k for a 2week Makeup course is cheap. I paid 150k for 2weeks to a top Nigerian makeup artist from the UK. I didn’t regret it one bit because I was dedicated and very enthusiastic. In 2 months I made my investment back and I’ve been doing well. I say if you like MUD’s portfolio, grab the offer fast…
